Don't really get what the point of this Movie was :wow: Compared to the several other films I've seen with basically the same thing going on this has to have been the worst ( by far ) :cautious::whistle:

Such an amazing movie. I have never ever felt so much sympathy towards any character, as I did with Carrie. I was rooting for her all the way through the movie, and I felt that the
ending scene, with the prom was a bit justified(not that I will ever condone or support anyone killing another)
.

The transfer from Arrow Films is A***. Cannot believe this was a movie from 1976. Hope they release it again on a proper UHD disc!

True Romance (1993):

First time watching this. Thought it was a great movie. Loved the two lead characters, great supporting cast and a great plot. Once again a top notch transfer from Arrow.

I know this got some real bad reviews but I actually quite liked it  Thought Harbour was great in the role of Red guardian and really liked Pugh. Really liked her since Fighting with my family :D:thumbs:

3.5 out of 5.

A Futile and Stupid Gesture (2018)

"In the 1970s and '80s, National Lampoon's success and influence creates a new media empire overseen in part by the brilliant and troubled Douglas Kenney."

I just watched this on Netflix. I found it very interesting since I wasn't familiar with the story and I had never read a copy of National Lampoon. The trailer that used the recreated scenes of Animal House is what lead me to watch it.

A lot of familiar faces and a lot of backstory on the beginnings of the National Lampoon films Animal House and Caddyshack as well as the beginnings of Saturday Night Live and their cast members.

Characters in the film include Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, John Belushi, Ivan reitman, Harold Ramis and a lot of other people that you know.

I think this is a must see for fans of those movies.

Definitely wasn't what I was expecting but was actually better that way as I just thought it was gonna be another horror, Hahaha I was very wrong. Plenty of WTF moments in this. Reminded me of Power Rangers on a Sat morning with the costume types but just an R-rated version .

Ratter (2015)
full.png full.pngfull.png full.pngempty.png
This slow-burner is very underrated imo. It brings all the bad sides and aspects of multi-media and social media-life together and creates a paranoia-making atmosphere with it. Technically this is no nonsense and possible under certain circumstances and I recommend watching it before the snowden movie, because it´s from the same time and Ratter is for sure inspired of that whole whistle-blower thing and the scandals that were uncovered of it. The movie has some lengths, but I got banned a little when watching it and I also had to think about it afterwards.

Villains (2019) - 3.5/5.

I basically flicked through half of Netflix trying to find a short runtime movie and came across this. I'd never heard of it. Stars the guy who played Pennywise in IT (the recent adaptation), the main girl from It Follows, the main guy from Burn Notice and Wuntch from Brooklyn 99.
I'd probably describe it as a black comedy with some jumpy bits in. Definitely worth watching, it's well paced, half decent story and well acted. Ending was satisfying too.
