The Re-Animator original 35mm camera negative was scanned at 4K 16bit resolution on the Lasergraphics Director 10K.

A team of digital restoration artists cleaned the scans frame by frame. Color grading, including HDR was performed by colorist Gregg Garvin on the DaVinci Resolve and approved by Brian Yuzna. The original mono mag print master was captured at 96K/24bit. All picture and audio restoration work was completed at Roundabout Entertainment, Burbank, CA.
