Resident Evil: Retribution (Blu-ray SteelBook) (HMV Exclusive) [UK]

This should be the 2D version from what i've seen. No UK 3D steelbook in the pipeline as far as I know.
Went into my local HMV at 9am. Staff were going through lots of deliveries and putting stock out. Spotted Taken 2 DVD (9.99) and standard Blu-Ray (14.99)
Asked if they had stock of the Resident Evil Steelbook and was told they had ten copies listed on the system but they had not been put out yet??
I could not even reserve one copy.
Staff told me to come back later in the day and check again if they were out.
I'll report back in a few hours when I go back. I'm only a 5 min walk to the store from where I work. I may phone again in an hour or so. Don't want to miss this.

Couldn't save you a copy? They are going out of business and they still have no idea that bad customer service plays a part in this.
To be fair you got to give them a chance to get the SBs in the stores, there's a minimum of 4K of them printed (probably a hell of a lot more with it being commissioned as a HMV exclusive).
They aren't going to run out of them overnight especially as they are only being sold in stores ATM - it's not a huge movie and the amaray version has been out for a week already.

sorry guys no luck here. But its on order they said
No luck in my local HMV, a member if staff checked and said delivery was meant to of been on Saturday. So next delivery is looking at tomorrow if it turns up. It was nice to see the store with new stock in.
I went after work just now and still no stock of the steels had arrived and they still had ten listed on the system.
Will try again at 9am on my way to work as I walk past the store every day.
I'll go every day if needed until I find out when they get them.
Popped into my store today & the assistant said no, didn't even check the system. Will try again tomorrow with a bit more luck!

Got my mum to phone her local store today and the guy said they arent getting any in stock due to them being in admin.
Still none at my local store this morning.
And the same ten steels listed at £17.99 on the system they are waiting to arrive.
I'm still going to check every morning and afternoon on my way to work as I walk past the store going home.
Nothing in the Swansea store. Not even the amaray. Weird cos they had Taken 2 (not the steel). Didn't have time to ask if any were due in though sorry.
