That's a shame He was responsible for some truly classic shows

Saw this on News tonight. Whilst my brothers discovered him through Super Car, it was Fireball XL-5 for me followed closely by Stingray, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet. Formative Science Fiction for me.

absolutley gutted about this. met him a few years back nd he signed ALL my Supermarionation stuff

my son is a massive fan of Thunderbirds as well so i was hoping he could meet him one day
