Original poll:
Hi guys, I want to let you know that I received an email from Fox France that asked me to vote for the artwork that will be chosen for the Steelbook that comes out in France in December.

Per axcraig and Mams, an e-mail was sent from Fox France, asking which cover customers would prefer, via a vote.

The choices are pictured below. If you had a say, which would you choose?

Hi ash, is amazon.fr do the packaging same like amazon.de? I've receive my 3 steels from amazon.de a few days ago and the packaging was like your statement above (OCD packaging you said :D)
Just wonder if amazon.fr do the same when we order 3 steels from them, because when I order 2 steels from them (Batman and Xmen) their packaging was poor and the Batman came dented :(

Interesting, I had an order with the same 2 items - Batman and Xmen:FC - delivered a month ago with individual brown paper wraps in the individual cardboard boxes put into a wrap-around cardboard package. Very well secured and protected. I have had two more orders since then that came in exactly the same way with no damage to the steels. I am very sorry to hear about the damages. Did you ask for a replacement? They are very helpful and good about replacements.

Yes Amazon.anywhere is pretty spotty with their packaging when it comes to shipping single items (cardboard "case" with only brown paper wrap or just the yellow envelope). However, in multi-item orders, they are usually wrapped in at least 2 layers of cardboard plus the individual steelbook inserted into a clear bubbled bag and then into the specialized cardboard box. Then they are further packaged either into another box or a wrap-around cardboard package. This is the best I can describe when chip calls the "OCD packaging.":hilarious::hilarious:
Yeah man I now regret not ordering the three of them (Batman/ROTPOTA & Conan) in one go ;(

Thanks ash, but mine doesn't has warp around cardboard only individual cardboard box :(
yes I ask for replacement and as you said they are very good handle it :)
just worried when I order from them again and still come dented, so I want to know if we order for 3 steels are the packaging will be more good and save or it will be same like when we order 2 steels from them?

In my experience, they have better packaging when you have more items in your order as they will put the individual items into a larger box especially if you choose to have the items shipped together. If you know what you want to order and can wait for them (if they don't run out of stock easily), you should, in my opinion, order them together. The chance of one of the steels being damaged in the bigger box during transit is smaller than when it is shipped individually.

They do now - I remember the days of getting 20+ steelbooks in a big box and they were all floating around... :hilarious: EEK!

this version kills the play exclusive. i was able to get in on a gb for this, should have it in the next few days!

If I open to watch this which one should I open up guys this or the UK one? :)

I had a similar situation with XMen. Got both the UK and the French edition. If you want to admire the art, go with the French one. If you would prefer to keep the French one sealed because it may be more collectible, then go with opening the UK one.

if it does go up in value, open or sealed, it will rise either way.

I do like the UK front cover (but the rating logo and back text are so distracting and ruin it). The France is beautiful overall, not perfect, but has many nice features and extras over the UK.

Personally, if I started collecting steelbook 5 years from now, and I have to choose between the 2 version, I would chase after the France version...

I'm sure there are collectors who are going to chase after debossed steelbook...and the France is one of them.

If I open to watch this which one should I open up guys this or the UK one? :)

I was not a huge fan of this flick (though the effects and story were pretty cool), but the back art is definitely awesome! :scat:
