Really wanted to pass on this. But i'm a sucker for a nice embossed title.
The finish seems really thin and cheap on this wave (in the pics at least), but with it being a metal guy on the front it just about works

Willow was cheap too but that was super glossy. Same with Roger Rabbit.

Almost every Paramount with gloss varnish finish was priced 10,99 during release. So cheap price and finishing has got no relevance.

Big fan of any embossing but I bet most people here would happily pay £10.99 and have it a glossy/special finish. Not sure why some studios cheap out on finishes, especially when they're paying for embossing. Doesn't make sense to me.

Does this at least have some 'bling' (like Terminator)?

Apolgies if I come across as moaning. I'm just a bit tired of steelbooks at the moment, with all the problems with damages, re-releases, etc. This one does look like the best from the wave. I'm just curious as to why not pay for a better finish.

The embossing is nice but the matte finish does look dull to me.

It will go nicely with The Terminator for an 80's action set, but I still wish they'd used something resembling the poster and correct font.

I've never actually seen Robocop, but I'm more than aware of the man with the really long arms. I have this on order, but as usual I'm annoyed that I can't get the full trilogy in steelbook form.

I hate having The Evil Dead steelbook and the other two in amaray form.

They are bound to release a trilogy steelbook at some point. Personally i'd rather just have the original on it's own, the 2nd and 3rd films i wouldn't buy for a dollar!
