I'll pick this up at aome point because I'm a fan and I'd rather this streaky-matte/average-art steelbook than the amaray. However I think Rocky fans are owed a better steelbook collection or collectors set with all movies. I'd even take individual collectors steelbook releases so long as they're good art and finish.
I'm hoping that the debacle of all the individual disc issues with the first 4 will encourage them to make amends at some point. However for now I can't help but feel the Rocky series and who worked on them, along with the fans, were massively disrespected with the mediocre art, disc issues and release pattern of these movies from WB. Has any other 4k series been done so badly? Maybe outside of Pirates of The Caribbean? At least the Pirates 4k steelbook set was nice art, like the blurays before them.
Any other series of movies released on 4k that's been done so poorly? I'm probably forgetting a few but for me Rocky is a bigger deal than most.
N.B. I do respect WB for making ammends by issuing replacement discs & thank you @paulboland for highlighting a how-to. But it all feels so under appreciated still.
