Now there's the artwork i was talking about earlier, i so wanted it to be that

i have to say, everyone who posted after the artwork was announced had me laughing my ass off

My first impression was.. I kinda like it, then I zoomed in to the pic..that was a big mistake.. I think i could've happily lived with the art till I saw those hairs I guess it suits the film, in your face and funny... ?? Any how I'm still gonna buy it! Plus i don't own it on BD yet

I think it certainly follows the tone of the movie. But I'd rather it be an actual picture of Tim Curry in the fishnets etc because at least that wouldn't have grim little cartoon hairs

Also, the very red/pink colour scheme keeps reminding me of cover for Shock Treatment and I really don't want to remember that. At all.

One of my all time faves but this is so not right for the steel.

I'm all for some original art but the lips or Frank are sooooooo IC.........ONIC! That this just wastes a golden opportunity.

Glossy ( or spot gloss!) Scarlet embossed lips against a jet black background?

Sorry. It grieves me to say as a huge fan, but not with this art.

Good grief. I have the digibook and there's no way I'd even consider a steelbook of this movie if this is the artwork. Isn't this a waste of a good steelbook?

they should have went with the classic lips art.

i havent seen the film and would have got a steelbook with good art. unfortunately, this looks worse every time i look at it.

cheap and tacky, not in a way that is fitting with the film either
