I'm keeping my order
It's star wars
I also ordered the 2D and 3D Slipcover editions

I will also end up getting Nova Choice edition when that gets announced

USA releases waiting to see if any Group Buy happening

I will aso get Blufans but I expect that will be end of year or next year

Utterly hideous. Is there room for me on the hate train? I'll stick with the order as it's Star Wars (I know - I didn't even like the movie particularly) but here's hoping BluFans or the like do something better for this... they had so much great artwork to choose from!!

Previous Artwork even though we knew it was not gonna be final, it was a very nice one.

Now what's with the legs in water, looks really odd. Cancellation for me as well. Will go for the Amaray Edition.

The thing is that this will most likely sell out before any price drop so nobody is losing money. In fact it makes perfect business sense because they can re-release it in a few months time with decent artwork and collectors will lap it up.

How many times do we see that and in a month there's a ton of them going for £8.99 or something

I would have to admit... I like it... not brilliant, but good and acceptable. Let's face it, it could of been a lot worse. Title on the spine is a real plus here so we have to be thankful for that. But opinions will vary, pre-order the editions you like from other sources if you do not like this one. At least we don't have to double dip either later on in the year for a 3D version either.

I was really hoping for a fabulous piece of artwork for this.

I cannot bring myself to cancel it as it was easily the best film last year and I am a massive star wars fan.

There was just so much great artwork to choose from and this is just so uninspiring.

I thought hey I like this, then I thought about it, none of the Death Troopers are in any of the battle scenes are they*? They are with Krennic at the beginning and that but that's it? If you have them standing in ocean water then why not go more iconic with the stormtroopers or the shoretroopers?

Death Troopers are cool tho just why are they in the water?

*happy to be corrected if they ARE in the final battle scenes

They do happen to be in the final battle.

An unfortunate outpouring of negativity on this thread despite Disney fixing the MAIN thing that mattered most to steelbook collectors . . . namely the missing titles. Now they've given us a title on the spine AND on the front in the U.K. - something that came to pass as a direct result of the feelings aroused by THE FORCE AWAKENS - and still people aren't content.
Let it not be said that Disney doesn't listen to and act on feedback !
. . . and you only have to look at the speed at which they fixed all of the lenticulars for their recent Classic and Pixar releases after the obvious sizing issues seen on AGE OF ULTRON amongst others (and I was expecting to have to wait for these until March instead of last December when some were released).
Maybe a "Thank-you" for that at least wouldn't be asking too much (lol) ?

Anyway, as it stands today:-
Europe and Asia ....................................................... U.K. ............................................................. The Americas

That being said my choice for the front artwork would've been something minimalist yet still keeping the circle artwork also seen on other upcoming space operas - ARRIVAL and PASSENGERS - to make up a nice little trio:-

. . . or even a little something Big Head stylee to go well with the first 6 individual steelbooks:-

No offence but a "Thank You"...really? Zavvi have done one thing after another for a good year or two now and just because we finally get a Disney release the slate is wiped clean? Sorry but that just doesn't cut it, I mean they (Disney) took that away and now that they added it back we should be grateful? Steelbooks should be going forward not backward.

I'll say thank you when we get a Steelbook of a much anticipated film with amazing artbook and a great finish.
