Interesting artwork reminding me of tattoos - not having watched this. . . presumably significant (?) - and thinking it'll maybe grow on me.
A mass (lol) of religious symbols on the steelbook and the "LOVE & HATE" print take me right back to Robert Mitchum's tattoos in "The Night of the Hunter" (1955) doing his psycho preacher turn in preparation for his equally cool and equally psycho turn in "Cape Fear" (1962) :-

The "other one" (and the similar quality MOULIN ROUGE) which both look unbeatable as far as steelbooks go:-

Hmm yeah, that hot pink screams for gloss! Some embossing would be nice too, but I won't get my hopes up. My only other concern is that the gold areas will end up being metallic/bare metal.

I agree this would maybe look decent if gloss. Anything pink needs to be gloss IMO (hoping baby driver is the same)

True but that'll cost me £50+ and while I don't doubt that it's worth it's value, I'm not so sure the film is, with a descent finish this will offer an adequate alternative...

Why are people even discussing the finish on this? its FOX ffs!!! lol. It will be flat with their usual poor matte finish! They barely even up their game on brand new releases.
