Ninth Annual Party Presented by XBOX’s Halo Universe
Fandom is headed back to San Diego for its annual event during one of the biggest fan conventions and this year rock band The Coverups, featuring Green Day’s frontman Billie Joe Armstrong will take center stage. The ninth annual Fandom Party - taking place at FLOAT at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, July 23 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. - is presented by XBOXs Halo: Campaign Evolved. The Coverups are a high‑energy cover band featuring Billie Joe Armstrong and longtime collaborators and friends. At this year's San Diego Comic-Con 2026 (SDCC), taking place July 22–26, Pudgy Penguins will officially debut Adventures of Pax Pengu & Polly, a three-part comic book series that reveals the official origin tale of their hero Pax Pengu, his first meeting with his “mate for life” Polly, and the legendary beginnings of The Berg they call home. The release marks a defining moment in Pudgy Penguins' evolution from a global collectibles phenomenon into a character-driven entertainment franchise built on an original storyline and powerful art.
The comic marks the first time Pudgy Penguins has told an official long-form story, establishing a shared canon that will anchor future experiences across the franchise.

A Three-Part Adventure for Pax Pengu and Polly
The trilogy consists of three full-color, manga-inspired comic books, each approximately 32 pages and printed in standard American comic book format (sized 6.625" x 10.25"). Together, the series establishes the foundational mythology behind one of Pudgy Penguins' fastest-growing character universes while introducing fans to an expanding cast of heroes, villains, and creatures that inhabit The Berg.
Introducing The Berg Omnibus
Alongside the release of the three individual comic books, Pudgy Penguins will also debut Adventures of Pax Pengu & Polly: The Berg Omnibus, a premium hardcover collector's edition that brings the complete trilogy together in a single volume. Limited to just 100 copies worldwide, the Omnibus features an exclusive cover created exclusively for this release and includes the full first 3-volume set for the Adventures of Pax Pengu and Polly.
For the first time, fans will discover the official origin story of Pax Pengu, Polly, and The Berg in a long-form adventure that reveals how two unlikely heroes met.
