I feel that even after all the initial hate towards this steelbook , that it will become rarity over time
Mine arrived yesterday in a flimsy bit of card with a lovely dent on the top of the steelbook! The packaging is usually good with Amazon de, but not this time! Have to send the old one back, pay for postage, wait for them to receive it before I get my replacement. So my account has been debited, pay for return postage, and no steel!! Great, eh!
This will definitely stand out on the shelf. But after looking at pictures of kimchi's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind release, I'll never feel good about a regular steelbook again, lol.
Looking forward to receiving this. The pics look good enough and the extras (cards & poster) are worth overlooking the plain back.
I love the matte finish they put up on this release! 
Would be great to see the other movies getting similar releases too, but they would have to put some iconic tools from the single movies on the front as well, don't know if there is one for every movie?

Can anyone report on the PQ and AQ of this steel and whether they used the 4k remaster?
Word on the street is it is a repackage of the old disc, with the VC-1 encode and DTS-HD HR 7.1 track.
Mine had a very small dent on the rear hinge so I'm hesitant in sending it back for that, especially after hearing from others how difficult Amazon Germany can be in regards to returning steelbooks. However, I just might return it if I test it out and it ends up not having the DTS-HD MA audio that is listed on the back of the cover. That's false advertising, though I'm not sure Amazon Germany would help me with that or they will have me take that up to StudioCanal Germany?
Yeah, I've heard that too. I'm going to test it out in a few hours to see if it's true. If doesn't have DTS-HD MA, I'm going to send it back somehow for false advertising but don't know if Amazon Germany will help me with that or StudioCanal needs to deal with it.
@C.C. 95 It is the exact same repackaged disc. I checked this last week when the steel arrived, popped the disc in and was thoroughly disappointed to find out that the audio was still DTS HR. Ah well, gonna still keep mine.
It's o.k. Unless it's a "Cadillac" release- I'm mainly in it for the Steelbook case (and although some don't like it- I DO because it is the original one-sheet poster!).
