I'd say the evidence is pointing to The Green Mile.

Possibly The Usual Suspects. (Please let it be this.)

I can deal with that, but like you, would much rather see Keyser Soze and the gang. ;)

That leaves only these 15 films, it's one of these :

  1. Schindler's List
  2. 12 Angry Men
  3. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
  4. The Usual Suspects
  5. Once Upon a Time in the West
  6. It's a Wonderful Life
  7. La vita è bella
  8. Rear Window
  9. City Lights
  10. Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi (Spirited Away)
  11. Intouchables
  12. Modern Times
  13. Sunset Blvd
  14. Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
  15. The Green Mile

And since I bet the last hint will be "Top 10", then the only logical answer would be Schindler's List, I'm 99% sure this will be it (12 Angry Men is a long shot). It would make perfect sense, since it always comes up as a steelbook many people want (not me, I caved in for the digibook, same thing for The Usual Suspects).

I would be very happy if it's Spirited Away, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Rear Window or The Green Mile, they'd make good candidates too — and it will never be that, but if Intouchables is HDZeta's choice, I'd welcome it with open arms too.

It's looking more and more like its Schindler's List. Which isn't bad. Although I actually like the version I have now. But if they did a bad ass The Usual Suspects...

Since Warner has just released Schindler's List in China, it is the most likely answer.
As much as I love the idea of a Spirited Away steelbook, it is a very long shot. However, the Japanese Blu-ray will be released in July, so it is not THAT unlikely. We can only hope...

Given how barebones the current Blu ray release of the Usual Suspects is... If they do decide to give this the steelbook treatment, I hope we get some special features!

Top 50? Awe... Eternal Sunshine is officially out of the running. :(

Okay, so Top 50 and never been made into a SteelBook before. That leaves...

7. Schindler's List (1993)
8. 12 Angry Men (1957)
15. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) - Only appeared in a doublepack from France
23. The Usual Suspects (1995)
26. It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
29. Life Is Beautiful (1997)
30. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) - Technically hasn't been done yet
31. Rear Window (1954)
34. City Lights (1931)
36. Spirited Away (2001)
37. The Intouchables (2011)
40. Modern Times (1936)
41. Sunset Blvd. (1950)
42. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)
45. The Green Mile (1999)

Lawrence of Arabia was a Sony film and How to Train Your Dragon is from Dreamworks. Since most of the films on this list are Warner/Universal films, that doesn't really help. There's a pretty huge difference in genre and age between Arabia and Dragon, too.

I think I'll put my money on it being The Usual Suspects, The Intouchables or Life is Beautiful. Though, technically, if HDzeta releases this third film closer to December, It's a Wonderful Life would be a great film for their third exclusive.

Detective Tridon, out! :p

It can't be The Intouchables because I remember reading wxlinkswd saying something along the lines of it has deserved a steelbook for a very long time (don't quote me on it though)
