Are you on schedule with the Mummy??
Yes we are on schedule Thanks I know we have been very quite on all matters because of the problems we had with SOTD
which has now been solved, but one problem should not have effected our ability to respond to comments on other releases & for that you have my appologies.

Thanks

Adeniyi, can you provide us with more in depth explanation as to what happened with SOTD that lead to two months of delivery delays

Thread for SotD still exists, as far as I'm aware, so maybe that conversation can be continued there instead of polluting the thread.

Yeah.. No.

I'll continue my line of enquiry here as long as EB are responding to me here. If you don't want to see my messages then do us both a favour and block/ignore my profile, that goes for the rest of you touchy EB fanatics.

Until then I'll just be here circling this thread like

Say what you want about what I have to say about/to EB but if the support/interest for this release was there then surely I would be drowned out by all the anticipation and excitement for this?

I'm not preventing the chatter here. There just isn't any chatter cause they left a sour taste in people's mouths. I'm guessing by the fact they have only sold 282 so far that i'm right.

Nope, I'm perfectly happy with my SotD box, I'm just not interested in this release so I'm not here talking about it which is probably true for a lot of other people.

No real harm done in regards to discussing SOTD in here to a certain degree... happens all the time when it concerns the same retailer. The main issue is when people are publicly called out for stuff which sparks arguments and derails threads further, rather than someone just simply reporting them/their post to us to avoid all that. So, please remember... if you have an issue with anything, then the report button is the best way to address it. Thanks!

Seriously? No moderators to fix the problem? It really makes the thread unpleasant.

There are moderators but they seen to think its OK to pollute this thread with SotD issues - which are all sorted out by now - instead of directing comments to the SotD thread which is still extant :(

The only unpleasantness here is to do with people trolling this thread with SotD issues.

There are no issues that I'm aware of concerning this SCOTT PILGRIM release . . . on the contrary, the lovely guitar pick should come as a pleasant and unexpected surprise

Mate stop crying

What's unexpected about something they've openly advertised as free with the steelbook lol

Sorry for the delay Saturdat is a crazy busy day for us. OK, all I can say is we had to reject two consignments that would have compromised the quality of the collection. They were very small but collectors would've picked up on it in 5 seconds, so it was a choice of a delay or letting those small imperfections through and hoping it would not be noticed, we chose to delay.

There are important things going on in the background with companies we deal with that actually stops us from going in depth.

What we would like is a clean slate and to be judged on our releases going forward, if you can do that then that’s great but if you can't we'll let our actions speak for us.

Any further discussions on this topic will have to be done in the SOTD forum.
I hope this helps

Thanks.

I respect an honest answer but Collector's as a whole would have respected an honest explanation upfront. Other companies do it, if you want to avoid critism upfront you should just be upfront and honest

So why couldn't you tell your customers this when they were waiting for 2 months for orders? Or why were people who ordered day one getting orders after people who ordered months later? If quality was an issue why does the J-card look like it was printed on toilet paper? Honestly, communication would have avoided a lot of animosity.

I hope that going forward you don't hide from your customers when things go South!

When we chose this title we knew it would not be a sell out day one it has a cult following

We had to walk a tightrope with what we could say and what we couldn’t say, so when we did put up a post explain our problems it ended up sounding like corporate speak and that was not our intension.

No excuses we made mistakes and not communicating when things got hot was the biggest. Things started so well we loved talking to members we changed designs of our steelbooks on HDN feedback, I guess we wanted to do things differently from all the other exclusive retailers and I hope we still can.

Sorry Guys I know there are those of you who dont want to here this stuff, so please those of you who would like to continue lets take it to the SOTD thread. It's almost 3am so I am calling time on this for now.

Thanks for your comments.

Sounds like a load of crap from everythingblu.
You run off like a coward and still give a porkie and vague explanation. Here you are trying to promote your products and if shite happens with delays etc are you going to run off again?

What I don't like is the fact EB completely messed up, lied about when everyone was going to get their products, ignored emails, so they can still keep the orders and profits. Hiding in their little corner.

Now they return here as if everything is clean state again and give us a BS explanation which could be stated months ago, and being honest upfront, but dragging us all along with a rope on slow walk to heaven.

They want to promote Scott Pilgrim but can't be a responsible retailer to face the music and heat at the time before.

You either stay on HDN everyday even if their are problems and answer everyone's questions or simply do not use this forum to promote your products. You can't have both.

What a coward and a disgrace you are @EverythingBlu
