Apart from the fact that this will probably arrive looking like a car had run over it, it's not even worth anything anymore. You could get a mint condition one on eBay for that price. Bad news for me as i'm trying to sell mine as I've bought the new Play.com exclusive.

yeah in that regards it can be a pain, remember when they were worth alot, i picked up 3 on their site at £14 each (before they added postage. and luckily for me all 3 came in perfect condition :D

just thought some people would wana try it, the previous post mention people resorting to buying these on ebay for £25. and figured people coiuld save a tenner. if it's in crap conditioni, refund time, i know thats not cexs thing, but as the steelbook has its own listing shall we say by their own policies they have to refund if they cant replace it.

Random note, quite surprised you prefer the new version, i dont think it's a touch on this one. This inside art is without doubt superior, one of those images which could work wonderfully as a poster. As for the cover art, the placement of the image as well as its size, title location as well as the colour is superior to the play version too. Yeah it has clean back art, but i'd happily give up clean back art for a fantastic cover and awesome inside art then have a clean steel with average, front, back and inside art. just my opinion:D

There's another problem you forgot to take into account; CEX's customer service. It is absolutely appalling. I've been trying to get them to refund for some items I ordered that went missing for months now with no joy. Buying from their stores is fine, but I will never order from their site again. Anyway, that's for another thread. I know what you're saying about Scott Pilgrim. It was a very tough choice, but I don't really want two copies of the same film so I had to pick.

For anyone after a copy cex.co.uk has this it' for £12. plus £2.50 packaging. You get no gurantee of it being in good condiiton but at £14.50 its probably worth a try. Only one in stock though. So act fast :p

They also have one in the camden store so any londoners after this may wana investigate.

Two of those locations don't have the Blu-ray its a stock mess up that has yet to be fixed.

there is also no guarantee it will be the red one as i traded in the newer version into cex and it was listed as this one. I believe most of them available now will be the play.com blue one.

You're commenting on a 6-month old post. No reason to revive this thread. That was posted before you became a member. :p

I agree that the red on the first one makes it a pretty good looking steelbook despite the rating symbols. However, I got the blue one as well as it's cleaner looking. Wish they both were red.

This was the first SB I got that made me feel like a serious "collector" as opposed to someone just buying them at random. I've been addicted and going crazy ever since
