Whoever at Lionsgate designed the Artwork Title was he/she intoxicated

Did he/she watch the film and get frightened and his/her hand was shaking when doing the artwork

What the heck is with the half black interior art? o_0 I could see the front looking nice if it ends up being higher definition and debossed or something to that extent.

The back doesn't bother me too too much, but its an odd choice for sure.

I don't think I'll be picking this up until after I see it. Given its still available at its limited quantity.

I like to think the inner art is the reaction to the exterior...

There's no disguising the fact that this was thrown together in very little time with very little effort. This movie is $5/£6.50 on Amazon right now, has tons of iconic imagery to choose from, and here's Zavvi, seemingly avoiding anything resembling familiar or professional-looking, instead throwing some crappy sub-amateur Photoshop "art" out, limiting the run to 2k, and asking £19.99 for it?

I shouldnt complain too much though as its saving me a fortune, I dont think my preorder list has ever been this short, even counting the other retailers I only have 5 items on preorder, there was a time when my preorders were 2 or 3 pages long!

the criminal pricing zavvi are doing on these "ultra limited" steelbooks will probably mean the few of us who actually like the art still wont order.

….paying anything more than £15 for zavvi's "basic" range of steelbooks is like consensual robberery :movie:

Zavvi did not choose the Artwork

Zavvi are a retailer as in a shop

Zavvi don't make any steelbooks they just sell what's made available to them to sell

This is a Lionsgate Release given to Zavvi as an exclusive
Zavvi can suggest artwork but its not there decision what artwork is used that is done by the studio

I keep seeing this with every release were people are not happy with artwork

I don't like it and made fun of who did do it but it was not created by zavvi
The Studio Lionsgate are the ones who approved the artwork and let zavvi know what this was

When you see a Amazon Exclusive or a general release to all retailers its the Studio releasing a release and deciding who sells it as in general release to all retailers or as an exclusive like zavvi

If Zavvi are getting an exclusive which isn't world wide I find it hard to believe they don't get SOME say in the design.

I understand if it's something which is world wide like for example the Frozen Steelbook, basically the odd one out of the collection in terms of it's design but that's because it was a world wide release, the art was all the same.
