Dear Customers,

Thank you for your patience whilst we’ve developed our 4K restoration plans for David Fincher’s Seven. We’re pleased to announce that the restoration will finally be released in early 2025, with a brand-new 4K scan carefully overseen by Fincher.

We will be releasing two products: a Digipak and a Steelbook release, both developed and designed by the director himself. These products will replace the previously announced What’s in the Box and Ultimate Collector’s Edition versions.

Pre-order for the new products will go live in early November. Apologies again for the delay, and thank you for understanding. We can’t wait for you to experience Seven in more detail and depth than ever before."

Apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation might cause, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding.

Thanks again for your support, we’re excited to share this new release with you soon!

Not sure what people expect, i think some people are unrealistic with their expectations. Zodiac 4K also wasn't some relevation compared to the blu ray but it was better and to me looked absolutley stunning yet i saw loads complaining about it. This is david fincher we are talking about and this movie has a very dark grim look to it, Fincher coming along and making the HDR super bright would be very silly and not his vision. It's a very tastefully done 4k transfer, HDR pops where it needs to, The depth and sharpness to the image is incredible. The lack of atmos is dissapointing but it is what it is. I think most people will be happy.

Wait...Zodiac had a 4k release!?!?
Damn, I missed that one.

Mines arrived just as I'm leaving for work.
Can't take any photos sorry.

The steelbook is actually much better then I thought to be fair. It's not egregiously streaky at all. Kind of clean for the most part.

The circled bit in the marketing images looks really like a scratch on the actual steelbook. It's odd. Because of it's colouring, the art looks like a bit of the paint is chipped off.

It's not. Just to warn you. It's the design.
