Dear Customers,

Thank you for your patience whilst we’ve developed our 4K restoration plans for David Fincher’s Seven. We’re pleased to announce that the restoration will finally be released in early 2025, with a brand-new 4K scan carefully overseen by Fincher.

We will be releasing two products: a Digipak and a Steelbook release, both developed and designed by the director himself. These products will replace the previously announced What’s in the Box and Ultimate Collector’s Edition versions.

Pre-order for the new products will go live in early November. Apologies again for the delay, and thank you for understanding. We can’t wait for you to experience Seven in more detail and depth than ever before."

Apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation might cause, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding.

Thanks again for your support, we’re excited to share this new release with you soon!

The twist: Cameron joins Skynet.
He basically did:

His role will centre around how the technology can be used in special effects, also known as computer-generated images (CGI).

His new place of work, StabilityAI, is best known for making Stable Diffusion - which can generate images based on a user's text prompt.

It is also branching out into video, with Stable Video Diffusion, which works in the same way.

It is this tech that Cameron seems to have been brought on to help develop.

"Now, the intersection of generative AI and CGI image creation is the next wave."

We got recycled paper products, recycled food, why not recycled art now...
First it's paper straws, then AI crappy Avatar 68. Poor guy probably just got tired making all them sequels for so long and realized something...

I'm not interested in robot hallucinations.
Art only has meaning because of the human intention behind it.
And AI systems are dumb as ass. I spend more time CORRECTING chatgpt than getting useful information from it.

Sooooo... you admit training it, right? :naughty: ;)

Now, joke aside, I honestly believe we are doing a VERY BAD thing by `talking` with any of those so called AI... certainly what those reply, can be found somewhere else (granted, not that easy and quick), but at the same time, we let our `details` go `somewhere`.
Remember, we are the `product` (sold and purchased over and over again).

I believe such AI should be `trained` with ONLY the information needed for some specific tasks (let's say, finding strongest, most resilient and resistant building structures, or BETTER YET, find a cancer or diabetes cure [if the `farma` will EVER allow this]).

I'm pretty sure what I wrote will create now a reason to debate... despite me wanting just one thing: RISE AWARENESS and OPEN MINDS!
Hope I ill be forgiven... :p

From my experience in 'working with AI' it's all prompts that represent human heuristical steps applied to a probability engine good at reading structured text, or predicting your next word. Generally, the answers gathered from wider used large language models out there, are why the results returned are far from perfect. The human element is still being revised and applied to make these things look clever.

Important to note that chatgpt, and chatbots etc. are not really AI.
They LLM (Large Language Models). They aren't thinking- they are Autocompleting. They are like Google search on steroids.
AGI, or Artificial General Intelligence, is what you would worry about.
Unfortunately- it is already in the zeitgeist to call things like Chatgpt "AI" even though it is a complete misnomer.

HMV have listing for the SteelBook that replaces the previous cancelled editions it's not live yet to prer order

Link in OP

Pre order is expected to be live in November exact date TBC

I will assume it's going to be same as the USA SteelBook
That’s not what he asked you though. He asked your opinion on the art. Do you like it? You never mention if you like artworks. You never actually have an opinion on anything. Just facts and technical specs. But your response was exactly what I was expecting lol
