I find that picture ironic. I had to ship a human head to the United States yesterday, packed in dry ice and placed in a fibreboard box. Also had to accept a cryobox containing “Human Testicles” from the US, but that’s another story.

@Noodles i happened to have that edition from spain, it was pretty cool actually :D
Cool! I was always tempted to pick it up, but never did.

I actually started working on a premium edition concept back when Manta first announced theirs, and I was using a scan of that edition for my slip... would love to see ML use it for their OC though! :D

I kinda want the gorgeous minimalism of the Criterion Laserdisc.

I have an old DVD digipak edition somewhere that uses the same simple black design, but then it has raised/embossed scrawled writing (also in black) over the top, which looks awesome! I can't seem to find any photos of it online though, so I'm now wondering if I maybe just dreamt it...

It wasn't a dream... I found it! Turns out it's not quite as I remembered because it clearly uses a different design to the laserdisc, but I personally think this looks much cooler. :D

IMO Finchers best. And that’s no easy task, as all his films pass the sniff test.

Absolutely NO QUESTION.
I kinda lament when he takes on (what I consider to be) below par scripts like Gone Girl or Panic Room.
He makes them better than they should be - but he should be working on better material (i mean, WWZ 2 ?!!).

Psychological thrillers seem to be a thing of the past for Hollywood. Well, decent ones anyway. Seems the studios are more worried about what Thanos ate for breakfast, and whether it had traces of pork!

With any genre - it only takes ONE hit to bring it back to life.
Except Erotic Thrillers. Those are gone for good.
(I hated that era. Basic Instinct, Sliver, Fatal Attraction, Disclosure....):yuck:

There was also a NEW LINE PLATINUM series DVD that (kind of) copied the Criterion Laserdisc.

I kept all those NEW LINE PLATINUM series DVDs because they were so nice.
The Hollywood Pictures VISTA SERIES was also really nice.
I wish we could get a steelbook of TOMBSTONE that did it justice like VISTA did.

Ahh, you're giving me flashbacks. I had both of these ages ago. No idea what happened to mine, but these editions were really nice.
