I think the double lenti looks very nice matching the original movie poster. And with the debossing i cant wait to see my copy. Preorder in group buy, check!

I will get either the Full Slip or Double Lenti not decided yet which

I have already USA digibook and just put the disc in player to re watch this film

Give me the GB all ready lol love the Steelbook, I wish we could see the effects on the double Lenti but for sure single Lenti for me...by the way I’m so happy to see those prices on a premium.

It's because there aren't any 4K or 3D discs and that's OK with me because those are great prices like you said.

I like all of the slips more than I like the SteelBook. Since I'm somebody who most of the time doesn't unseal boxes and slips, I'm almost tempted to buy 1 of each edition but skip the One Click just so the slips will be visible to me. :wacky:

... and in a parallel universe Brad Pitt's brother, Doug, is using the "what's in the box" for a 6ix beer commercial:-

(Mother's Brewing Co. Published on May 3, 2019. "Mother's found inspiration for our new brew, Doin' Good, in Springfield's own other brother Doug Pitt; founder of Care to Learn and all around good guy. To that end, we feel good sending a portion of package sales their way. Video by the great Locke and Stache Mills -- Doug Pitt Somerset -- Jon Herbert John Doe -- David Soper Script adapted by Kyle Jeffries").

Yep, even First Man (not catalog title like Se7en) 4K+2D version at their site it's only $48.99 (2D $43.99) which crazy good deal... gotta love their prices...

I really try hard to get the double lenti grow on me, I really do, but official poster or not it´s just so boring and dull, two floating heads on black background :rolleyes:

But to be fair the single lenti is kind of ruined by that John Travolta gif lol @jonnybobbytimmy why did you do that? :hilarious::hilarious: now it cannot be unseen :oohyeah: but it´s brilliant though :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Really still not decided which slip I´ll go for.....the matching font on steelbook and DL slip is nice yeah, but I also like the classic font with 7 in it....

Shiiit this is really tough

It really is, isn't it?

I thought I'd settled on the DL. Now I'm wondering if I want floaty heads on the front, floaty heads on the back and floaty heads on the steelbook too!!!!

  floating heads everywhere.....well the back side of the DL is not so bad, but I get what you mean....

I think I will end up with single lenti anyway, but that Morgan Freeman pose is really hilarious

I think I've decided to go for the double lenti.

Only because the movie title font matches on BOTH steelbook and slipcover.

The White slipcover package uses two different fonts for the movie title!

As I know you're struggling with your decision I'll point out that while you're right the slipcover font matches the steelbook on the DL you still have the different font on the booklet, envelope and back of the character cards. So the font ratio is actually better on the FS :naughty:

What I'll also say is that the finish has spot scratch resistant on the FS so I'm imaging the text on the back of the slip having an awesome effect

Like I've said before non look amazing but I think in hand the FS will be the best

As much as I’m delighted that one of my favourite films is getting the Manta treatment, I can’t help but echo the thoughts of others. They’re all a little mediocre and not helped by the artwork that was on offer sadly.

The steelbook is definitely the best part of the package and I’m sure once in hand it will be glorious.

The full slip is dull and lifeless, only the mother of all finishes will save it. The single lenti was my initial pick but I cannot unsee the John Travolta gif, which is the funniest thing I’ve seen all week! Seriously, bravo @jonnybobbytimmy take a bow sir! Which leaves the double lenti, not the most exciting but it is original poster artwork. I’ll be going with this, hopefully the lentis are crystal clear with the images being so dark.

:hilarious: :hilarious: but it´s probably right, with proper finish this can look decent afterall

Pretty much agree with all you said, I even started to consider picking up the DL, coz evertime I look at Morgan on SL I burst with laugh, which is not good considering the tone of the film itself lol

Yeah, Mantas full slips usually have top notch finishing. And I DO actually like that white design.

Oh, I don't know what to do now!!!

Hahaha! So very true, it’s defintely NOT a chuckle fest!

You all have to remember that Manta's been back and forth to the studio with different variations over the years, who apparently kept rejecting their designs. Had they not been so strict, then I'm sure ML could've delivered something much better than what they have done here. That being said, I'm fairly happy with them all... think I've settled on the DL though, because being able to afford the OC is looking very unlikely at the moment.
