I'd be careful if I were you...I showed my ex this film after she said she really wanted to see it, and afterwards was surprisingly disturbed and asked me why I 'let [her] watch it'. Safe to say you know that she's my ex now. She said she had nightmares afterwards.

Personally it's my favourite Fincher film along with Zodiac. I can't decide which I like more - I usually choose Zodiac, but Pitt, Morgan and Spacey are on fine form throughout. Not into these white steelbooks but only because I know I would start collecting them all so just have the slipcover amaray myself, but have not watched it yet. I assume the PQ is bang-on, as are most other Fincher films!

EDIT: which got me wondering...why is The Game transfer apparently so bad, and why isn't Panic Room on blu-ray? I thought everyone loves Jodie Foster?

Heh, hadn't considered that. But since we started dating last year, she's wanted to watch scary movies since she has someone to "protect her"

I've warned her it's a dark, suspenseful, thriller.

it is,pardon my french. ****ing amazing, seriously. after you have watched it,it will be on your mind for days, weeks, months. it is spine chillingly good! very intense, but be warned it is very very dark, pretty much no humor and it is pretty grim, but that's what makes it so good

Not just one of the best thrillers of the 90s, but one of the best thrillers full stop. All elements are perfect. Fincher set the bar very high for himself with this!

I would love to be watching it for the first time!
