There were no threads for either the US, or UK releases, hope I posted in the correct section, as there doesn’t seem to be a special one for TV series.
Anyway, I've been looking at the US version, which costs now almost £80, when noticed UK variant is half that. They did remove the movies, but I didn't want them anyway, as the discs included in the American box are exactly the same, as can be bought separately, and I do already have the first of them.
There are strangely no unboxings of this series either, besides one podcast guy Brandon Peters, who usually gets 10 views on his YouTube videos, doing one a few months ago, and being surprised he suddenly got thousands of views.
The packaging is the worst, cheapest ever, so I definitely didn't want to pay 100 dollars for it, but 50 seems OK. So I wanted to let others, who might be interested, know.
I plan to put the discs into the album book that DVD complete series was released in.
P.S. I've researched this as best I could, the widescreen framing is not done by cutting anything on top and bottom, as reframing with Super 35, for example, often does - only more is added on the sides. Quality is like 720p TV broadcasts of mid 00's, but better than existing DVDs.
