I wonder how long this thread would be without all the complaining. Just to compare:
This thread was created: Dec 28, 2016
Earliest post of delivered item: ~ May 25, 2017
Total time: ~5 months

Blufans' Wall-E thread was created: Jun 25, 2014
Earliest Pics of delivered item: Feb 19, 2015
Total time: ~8 months

Just some perspective.
... Not the same at all. I was one of the collector's waiting for Wall-E and did not post about it once

My comment was geared towards the speculation and insult. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
What speculation and insult???

It's quite a real possibility that EB is having cash flow problems. Also a very valid worry that they may go bust.
You don't have to feel insulted on their behalf.

Blufans established retailer.
EB non estabished retailer, and more importantly they did not deliver the quality we expected. Of course everyone is going to complain....and has every right to.

Blufans also didn't deliver the quality we expected:
So I joined a group buy for a:
- glossy steelbook
- full slip in english
- region free

I will be getting:
- matte steelbook
- full slip with huge chinese writing on the front
- region locked

Where are all the asian steelbook fanatics and apologists? Put a positive spin on that if you can. Meanwhile I'll say that Blufans is one of the worst steelbook "retailers" to have ever existed.

That's from the Wall-E thread.

I was too, I'm just saying they took longer and changed their product from the initial expected release too.

People comparing other editons from other retailers don't work IMO,

Not everyone in here would of been in those threads at the time or ordered the said product

If I was waiting 8 months or longer for a order from another retailer after payment I would of been complaining in those threads like I was in here.

Plus EBs first premium is going to worry people compared to a retailer who had established themselves.
Yeah the delays from other established retailers are not on but like I said not everyone was involved with those orders and if I was for example you would know about it!

Finally emailed EB this evening about my issues with the numbering cards, no sealed poly bags for the cards, marks on my steels etc etc etc

Will update when I get a response

That's from the Wall-E thread.

Blufans is an established retailer. esbtalished retailer can make a few hiccups here and there. A non established retailer like EB and you expect us to forgive because they a make a mess of their overall product on their first exclusive and just isolate a wall-e case like blufans to make it acceptable not to complain about EB? Your logic sounds rediculous.

I think what most people find infuriating is the sudden communication black out on the end of @EverythingBlu over here (can't comment how active they still (?) are on other message boards).
Heck, I can tolerate delays, even months, but when a company announces shipping finally starts, I expect them to send out the whole batch of products and not prolongate shipping for weeks and weeks!
The Blufans GB example mentioned above may share some characteristics of the mess we're witnessing in May/June 2017, but at least once the product was ready, all packages did actually leave Blufans's warehouse on pretty much the same day, didn't they?!

Just for the record: Still unfulfilled.

There's a difference between empty speculation and a very real possibility. Doesn't take a genius to work it out. But maybe that's beyond you.

You know nothing about the internal workings of this company, zero, so any speculation about their finances on your part is wholly and irrevocably...empty. Just because you add the words 'real possibility' doesn't make it somehow more concrete. Nor does a delay in shipping orders offer proof of their financial shortcomings. So tell me, other than a shipping delay, do you have anything at all to back up your speculations?

Blufans wasn't as well established at the time as they are now. They were announcing new releases before finishing the previous one or two. This was also just after Kevin was banned from HDN. So before you go touting how well established they ARE, think about where they came from.

Kevin is a GB host. He doesnt make steelbooks does he? He just organised them through the GB. Not sure exactly what Kevin has to do with this at all.
So here are a list of Blufans exclusive.

So they released quite a few steels before Wall-e, number 12 on the list. And we have EB, there first exclusive (plus Killer Clowns).

You defence for EB amuses me more. So I will stop there and continue to watch you defend them. I find this highly entertaining. So go and search for other one off exclusives that took months to deliver from established retailers that can't even dispatch on the third week now everything is all ready. Here, I throw an egg for you, might as well start talking about MI5 Maniacs box from FA lol

This thread was created: Dec 28, 2016
Earliest post of delivered item: ~ May 25, 2017
Total time: ~5 months

A key point is that it matters not when a steelbook is announced. So this was announced at the end of December and Pre order was in January 6th with immediate payment upon ordering so 5 months plus between the company taking moneys for the product.

Blufans' Wall-E thread was created: Jun 25, 2014
Earliest Pics of delivered item: Feb 19, 2015

Just some perspective.

Blufans Wall E GB was finally closed on Sept. 23 2014 over at BR after being open for a little over a month. The GB host typically requires payment close to release. Invoices would have been sent out soon after closing with a pretty generous period to pay ( sometimes a month ) There were delays with regards to the final finish. It finally began shipping at the beginning of February. It is also important to note that those who ordered at the GB over at BR got a credit ( $5 per copy ) they could apply to a future Blufans GB. So perhaps a 2-3 month delay

There were grumblings over the delay and change in the final finish, but the way BF and the GB host handled the delays put most at ease. Theres a huge difference as to how both companies handled adversity and thereby still many unhappy with EB.

Soooo... who's looking forward to EB's Hot Fuzz release? :coffee:

It all depends how the Mummy works out lol. If the mummy is another failed project then I am definitely out. If it's a sign of improvement, I am happy to give them another shot.

LOL
You still think this is a simple shipping delay.
Painfully obvious that money from Mummy preorder is being used to order more product to fulfil orders of people still waiting.

It's painfully obvious that you're still pulling speculation from your backside and are totally ignorant to your own hipocrisy.
