Nothing against this release
I realise it's a big decider for future release for you and I wish you every success with it
For me personally I would have liked to have seen this some way down the line in your line as a triple Cornetto box set of all 3 films
This is already in discussions with the studio and upon a decent response with Shaun, we are positive they will follow and we hope to create something special on the third release to tie all three movies together.

Thanks,
EverythingBlu

Second class signed for is £3.95 for up to 2 Kg.

I think for a starter it looks good but without a booklet it looks thinner.

We have had issues with Royal Mail before and not sure if they will be used. Without a booklet yes they are thinner but really this is just the normal size of a blu-ray with a slip.

Thanks,
EverythingBlu

I'll buy it for the steelbook but the extra tat will be going in the bin (unless someone here would like it?). Is the design final? The "B)" logo on the spine is orientated like the older Universal releases (Jaws and E.T.)

If you buy it please don't toss the slip and extras in the bin; I'll have them for my original Play steel.

All of the packages look great, but there's one seriously weak point: the back of the steelbook is truly awful. And I really hope future releases will have a full sized booklet that sits beside the steelbook in a thicker slip. I don't care much for thin full slips that contain nothing other than the steelbook itself.

Thanks for your input. Our hands were tied with the steelbook other than we managed to get it made vertical. Going forward as we have said we will get much more freedom and release 002 that is lined up has a fully exclusive steelbook (yet too be approved) but confident we will have much more freedom.

Thanks,

Suppose it's just like the size of a nova lenti slip version.
Agree id prefer a book too in the future but if they do get to do hot fuzz and the worlds end (fingers crossed) then id prefer the book is smaller that goes inside the steel so all the box sets line up and look the same sizes. But other releases include a bigger book that sits in the slip along side the steel

It is weird that we still pay £10 more on a box set compared to the rest of the world but then I suppose their shipping will be much higher.

But I'm glad there is a uk premium retailer now that seem to have plans for the future and I hope it continues aslong as we get quality products

I'm hoping art works vary for slips and steel art though and although I like what I see for SOTD I would like to see a varied style of decent posters etc
There's a lot of white on this but Obviously for reasons like shauns white shirt etc and obviously red was used a lot for this film lol and what the studios decide

Really gutted I missed out on killer klowns

Why ya'll always after bulky and chunky? I love the thinner look and it's the reason I prefer o-ring to fullslip. They look so much sleeker and nicer along a shelf. More like a slip than a box

i believe we are in the minority. i also prefer just the o ring as it looks cleaner on the shelf from the spine view. seems like those are on the way out though unfortunately
