Thanks guys. There's a little devil in me that couldn't resist posting that in the middle of the war going on in here. I'm not normally a troll.

If it makes a difference, my order number was extremely low, 1005. So I expected to get a pretty low edition number--but #1 was a shock. First time it's ever happened for me.

I've never once not immediately broken the seal on any special edition before now, but I'm having a very hard time making myself open this one.

Kidding

Yeah the lowest number I ever got was for kimchi Dallas buyers club lenti - no.2

I'm in the US and mine hasn't even been fulfilled yet, go figure?

I live 30 mins away from the apparent shop so yeah ditto ... Go figure lol

I can only laugh about this situation now. I seriously can't imagine that all orders will be fufilled by the weekend like the last update unless he's employing the flash, quicksilver and superman tomorrow

I could be mistaken but didn't EB also offer a local pickup though?

I just want to counteract some of the negativity, if I can.

I originally ordered both separates and a box, but a couple of weeks ago I decided I didn't need the box. So I dropped an email over and had my reply within a couple of hours, saying that it had been done and that I would get it refunded. I shared a couple more emails back and forth and again, received quick replies. This was also my experience just after ordering, as I had a couple of questions then, which were answered quickly and helpfully.

After a few days, the refund hadn't come through, so I mentioned that and they advised that it was done, but was just waiting to be processed by PayPal and sure enough it did come through.

So I guess my point is, if you have questions, don't just come in here and complain, actually drop an email over to see if they can be answered that way.

Of course, if you have done that, then this is a moot point...

I'm surprised the individual editions inside the Box are unsealed.. o_O This should be a standard procedure when it comes to buying Premium editions!! :wacky: I plan to open them anyway but as already mentioned, the thrill of ripping that cellophane off ourselves is already taken away.. :squint: To me, it also feels immediately less premium when the product arrives in my hand already partially open! (n) I understand we as collectors are a fussy bunch (with some more than others of course :p) but this is just poor form IMO  Another aspect to improve on going forward please EB.

I consider the box/shelf as an extension to the actual steelbooks just like you would get a FAC or any other kind. The steelbooks inside should have been sealed. It makes me think that they added something to the inside after the fact. With like a FAC they stick the numbered card to a cardboard so as to not break the seal on the steelbook.

Not sure, but I don't drive anyway and would cost a **** load in taxi fares or train journeys (infact more than the box itself)

Train journey I would have to go pretty much into London and then back on myself because they are all messed up routes etc

My point was they are very close to me - not that it matters when it comes to dispatch but I was matching your post with a trump (card game) post lol

I hope that blurry text is the result of crappy photography skills and not crappy quality control.

Nothing shipped here after a week, it's abundantly clear this wasn't ready and instead announcing a delay they opted for deception.

It's the result of an extremely close-up macro shot revealing detail that can't be seen with the naked human eye. I'm a professional photographer, so it better not be the result of crappy skills.

People complain here as it's a public forum so we all know what's going on behind closed doors. If you don't post here you aren't aware of the issues.
