They're not custom friendly are they? You international people that have received it, what did it say on the custom slip?

Today I got a call from a norwegian courier that I've never heard of/used before (and i must've received thousands of packages over the years) telling me that they had my package. They wanted my email address + social security number (for the norwegian authorities) for when I need to pay customs on this package.
I have no idea how much this will be yet, and the courier will without a doubt have to get paid for this service also. And the package will still only be delivered to my local post office like every other packages I receive.

So in sum, for me it would've been much better if the package would've been sent with regular mail with tracking from the UK. And I paid £18.77 for this shipping. *shakes head*

Ouch, sorry to hear that, dude.

You reckon that they have took them down because they dont actually have them? @spass and @steelmybeatingheart

Also - has anyone who ordered a single version had theirs ship yet?

Imagine they only had 500 copies of each version made for the Blu Box and then realised they were selling them individually also

I think i have just cracked the case :cigar:

I think it's fairly obvious that there is more going on than a simple logistics problem.
It seems to be a cash flow problem as they don't seem to have the full consignment of product to ship out. I cannot honestly think of any other explanation.
If my reputation as a retailer was at stake i would be working round the clock getting stuff shipped instead of relaxing on a bank holiday.
In all probability they are waiting for a fresh cash injection from the Mummy preorder to complete SOTD orders

I'm just echoing what @Wreck said the other day, give them the benefit of the doubt at this point.

I believe they've taken up more than they can swallow and it's backfiring, lack of experience and all.

If you feel that your money is at risk, then you might want to look into your options for filing a claim. However, if it was me and my money was involved (it isn't cos I haven't ordered) I'd probably give it another week to 10 days before taking action in the absence of any new progress.

Thanks bud. Yeah, gonna be interesting to see how much this end up with. It's still a few days, apparantly, before it'll arrive.

Nah, I won't speculate like that lol!

Long time lurker here

I received my dispatch emails on Saturday and the parcel was due to be collected today however everythingblu have cancelled the collection ( confirmed by myhermes). I've emailed everythingblu and they told me my tracking showed it has been collected and is on the way, yet I didn't provide them with any information for them to track it. Like most people I've been happy to wait however I'm starting to get concerned now. Btw my order was #1080

Just to update, everythingblu have responded to my email and say it has been picked up and the problem was on hermes side, my tracking has now updated to "Collected by the courier". Not sure who is to blame but just happy it's on it's ways. Good luck to everyone else

Until you receive it then do a thumbs up

This is honestly what I was thinking

After their cash injection of mummy you will most likely see more Shaun orders sent out. Just a thought

Thats what I said at the start, money issues is the only thing I can speculate. It's not hard to pack and ship a load out IF you prepare and organise yourself. Either EB has not prepared themselves or they just dont have the money to pump all these orders out at an orderly fashion. Sounds like odd thing to do but the only way to get EB out of this hole is pre-order the mummy and help them out.

How long have everythingblu been around for ?. I hadn't heard of them until this release and the guy listed as the main man is a year older than me 23 :0.

It got me thinking that it's literally a 2-3 man operation which would explain why they are taking so long

Oh Starling my Darling ... yes please retailers please contact me and let me know what service you want and I'll gladly try to accommodate.

In all seriousness if a retailer wants to advertise at HDN we do sell that service (ie. a banner) but we don't sell hype, pruning of posts, etc. We allow the discussion to be organic. That isn't to say that other members dont have agendas of their own, but HDN does not contribute. So if I think a release is really cool ... it's cause I think its really cool and I'm a collector myself and post pics of my stuff often. I live and breathe this.

Zavvi is owned by The Hut Group, and despite the negative proclaim that Zavvi gets at times lets not forget that THG is valued or has been valued prior at 1 billion! So I dont think people are as worried about receiving a steelbook from such a retailer with that much backing vs. a new boutique label on the scene. So I think the comments and discussion here in this thread is ok until folks feel comfortable. Easier to go to this spot for all information for those who are concerned.

Personally I know how hard it is to handle logistics and while I have read many negative comments in here even some from mods those are those individuals personal opinions and not mine nor HDN's and because of that I dont feel like I should try to tell a mod who volunteers that they have silence their opinion. Obviously the product has been created, so personally I just think folks just need to chill out a bit and let things work out ... give EB some breathing room to handle the job. If 2 weeks go by and no sign of shipping then those still not taken care of should be concerned.

This is not to say that I dont understand the woes of waiting forever on a release esp if you feel like you've been mislead, and thus I get where the no chill comes from. I'm just from the old school of steelbookers and that means waiting a freakin' year for Let the Bullets Fly, Granted times have changed and no one is used to that anymore (and shouldnt be!) .... and disclaimer I didnt purchase this release so also my money isn't at play here.
As much as I don't want to do this I'm going sit tight and try and ride this one out. Wreck's been doing this far longer than I have and he knows the business more than I do so I'm going to go with what he said and be a little more patient with them but I'm sure not ordering from them again. I might be able to still get that Mummy Trilogy from BBY though, I'll have to check.

nah, i think they a) have actually sold out, hence the notice, or b) doing what all retailers do (Zavvi, amazon, through to the likes of Manta, etc) and 'selling out' before 'discovering' some copies later on. i've no issues with that, myself. :)

I was thinking maybe EB is relaxing somewhere enjoying their profits during the "bank holiday"

They didn't sell out. They had over a 1000 copies of each available when the Lenti was up. A member posted back a few pages ago. The unsold copies are probably returned to the distributor and then become a FAC release lol. Let an established big boy retailer finish the job and show how its done.

FAC? Hilarious. Price just tripled...lol

I sent them another email to support and still didn't get a reply. I didn't want to have to post on social media for the whole world to hear but I had to. He responded right away on Facebook. He said my order was booked in and that my shipping details would be over shortly. I guess we'll soon find out.
