problem is that u are most likly to be the minority…. in this digital age it is spectacularly easy to buy a steelbook from almost anywhere in the world and have it delivered 2 your door hassle free… and even if u choose not too for whatever reason, loads of collectors will :movie:

A uk “exclusive" is really no different to a USA “exclusive”, lest higher postage fees... This is why when a steelbook which has already been released 4 times elsewhere in the world gets another release, is considerd 2 be most definately be a waste of a steelbook :movie: ....especially when looking at other similar films which have 1 terrible release (ala The Spirit), or nothing at all like all those movies in the Feedback forum :movie:

Another reason why this is also a waste of time, is that those who love the film already and consider themselves to be big fans of the title, surely already own at east 1 of the previous 4 sin city steelbooks and are much less likly to buy this (under normal circumstances) compared to another popular title with zero appearances in steelbook form :movie:

Hear what your saying buddy but honestly IMO I dont believe this takes away the possibility of them not being able to release the steel you want. If they want to release it nothing will stop them. The flood gates are well and truly open - look at all the releases we get now, it's non stop :movie:

well just remeber that even as far as re-releases go, this is still zavv we are talking about

also lucky 4 them its "ultra limited" - between ppl who are less into the film and "scalpers" lookin to sell on ebay i'm sure this will still go oos even with bad art & matte finishing

i would imagine these would go pretty quickly, been thinking of getting this from abroad but held off hoping a uk version would appear, happy days now for inglorious basterds hopefully

This steel is a winner as long as it has both cuts of the feature film...

This can't be said enough. The only way to make this steel relevant is to make it a 2-discer. Unfortunately, Zavvi exclusive means the chances of that actually happening are slim, but here's hoping.

depends on the artwork & if it has the recut version-knowing zavvi, this might be a vanilla release

Having both cuts (and decent art) will be the only way for me to ditch my BestBuy edition and get this one.

Zavvi don't actually control what is available from any given studio, they are a retailer.

I've been waiting for a price drop on the Canadian version for a while.
(I've got an alert set up for when it does)

But I'll probably forgo that version and go with Zavvi regardless, as the post from overseas is always a gamble.
That is unless Zavvi really balls up the art.
