Irks me when people say everyone has a right to their opinion, only to then follow it up with a "BUT". He didn't like it, why does he need to explain that in great detail? Accept it and move on.
I hate that washed out look too... seen it used a few times before, so it's obviously a weird stylistic choice. The back "arts" are horrible and lazy as well imo, so I'm even happier that I didn't enjoy the movie and would otherwise be left with the tough decision of having to choose my least disliked slip.

So you are saying you liked the first half better then the second half with the horror, intresting. It might be a better complete movie if they skipped the vampire part but if you ask me i choose the opposite, they should have skipped the first half and make a full vampire movie i just couldnt care for any of the characters in the first half, everything felt flat.
Also it being overhyped not meaning it's bad, just a tad boring in places and too self-centered.
