Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

Wasn't against the original artwork but this one looks better imo - fits the movie very well.

Agree, even though I like the old artwork similar with the movie poster too. Was thinking to get two different artwork.

I prefer the original one. It's clean and worked great as the films poster.

The new one is terrible. The image of him smacks of an indoor picture even though they are trying to give the illusion of being outdoors.

I like the image in the new one (the old one looked too studio posed), but I'm not keen on the title being placed over the main image. I think it would look better if they edged the image down and made space at the top for the title. It's such a nice clean image, it's a shame to break it up with that ugly font.

As for myself I am préco the French version on amazon.fr which is identical but with a set of photos of movies.

They should remove the Skyfall and 007 logos on the front since they're on the side, It's the best Steel ever though, I've pre-ordered two copies

As someone has said between us, artwork on the site is Temporary. Not really sure why they haven't updated it yet when their Facebook page shows the updated version.
