Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

I thought so too, but it's not true in this case. It's still Amazon.co.uk for the normal price, even when you click on the affiliated merchants-page - the system is just being messed up. It pops up in stock every other hour or so.

I was going to say Ive been seeing it pop up every 30-35 mins. I wish I would have been able to get one at the original price but im thankful to just get a copy.

Yes I'm sure the odd copy will trickle through on cancellations etc, but I doubt they'll be restocking in any kind of volume. Not unless we get a situation like we did with the Titanic Collectors's Box, which surprisingly came back into stock recently.

KEEP checking like i said I have noticed all day its been showing back up every 30 min or so.

I managed to get one earlier today while going through the 'normal' ordering process - not through 1 click. I did have to go to the page of affiliate sellers though, but it showed up there as an Amazon-product ^^.

For those still trying to get this, I would try downloading the page monitor add on for chrome which monitors a page for any changes and alerts you accordingly. So if you set it to monitor the page with the skyfall listing, anytime it pops back up for pre order, it will alert you.

so wait its playable in region A? is that confirmed? sometimes amazons descriptions tend to be inaccurate.

There is no point in Region locking this release as it is being released worldwide at the same time by just one Studio. Even the US release is Region free, so the rest of the world should be the same.

Yes it appears to be, occasionally 1 keeps coming up for pre-order but that could just be cancellations.

Dont give up! I'm sure you may have better chances closer to release when people decide to cancel because the don't have money or their card gets declined because they don't have money.
