Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN) is the parent company of DHL, so I think it is likely that it is DHL delivering internationally and it is just written down as Deutsche Post DHL...

I don't know why. Personally, i hate DP coz it take long time to reach Malaysia. This my 2nd time amazon.uk use DP for me. 1st time is my Titanic Limited UK Edition, take 5 weeks to reach Malaysia.Royal Mail only take 7 to 10 days only.

Mine is showing shipped via Royal Mail. Odd though...I've orders in Amazon.de that were shipped via Royal Mail and Amazon UK orders shipped via Deutsche Post. I'm guessing they select warehouses based on shipping addresses?

Oh, from 'Deutsche Post' I assumed they were shipping from Germany. I'm fine with them shipping with DHL, suppose to be a better courier....a bit worried about duties though.
