Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

HMV now in administration said:
People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

I must be the only person not that bothered about this...I saw the film, it was enjoyable enough but not one Id buy, but then I dont own any other Bond films

...It is strange however that such a popular film in a long running franchise that would surely sell a lot hasnt been snapped up by another seller in the UK, maybe because the steelbooks look like they are the same worldwide the stock originally put aside for the UK release has been absorbed into the other countries allocations :dunno:

I kinda feel the same, but that's because I wish they'd kept the original place holder art of Bond diving while wielding his gun. Its such a potent image and I feel it would've looked superb at the heart of any self-respecting collector, whereas the final design is good but it doesn't grab me quite as much.

We'll see, maybe when a retailer is cast for the UK release I'll finally make up my mind, but otherwise it'll be the slipcover version for me... heresy! :p

I heard that idris elba is rumoured to take the role on he is apparently favourite for bond in bond 24 aka devil may care

i've heard that too but I'd be interested to see in what direction it would take bond. I know I might get slated by some for saying this but I think daniel craig may well be the best bond, and I think connery and moore were cracking.

I saw a documentary on Sky where Moore says that Daniel Craig is his favourite Bond.

my fav was pierce then moore but i think pierce at least had another bond movie in him, he was mad that his contract got cut.

Tarantino went into talks to do Bond and brought the idea of doing Casino Royale, and he always wanted Brosnan and not Craig. The studio took the idea of doing Casino Royale and sacked off Tarantino :scat:
