People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

What is this priced reduction you all are talking about. Does everyone qulify? I have an order in for the last few days.

Amazon originally had this for £11.89 for a limited time (couldn't have been more than an hour). They then increased the price to £14.99. The same thing happened with Taken 2. I managed to grab this for £11.89 but missed the great price on Taken 2, so I messaged Amazon (take a look here) asking them to reduce my price. I expected nothing to come of it, but they reduced the price and since then everyone's been trying the same thing. Some with success and some without. Definitely worth a try though.

when i spoke to someone on the phone(and when speaking on the instant chat thing) I was told if I'd ordered in January they'd have given me the reduced price. so if you pre-ordered yours in january I'd say try contacting them via email or the live chat and complain that you think its unfair that others have been offered a lower price and they may offer you the lower price. (should try taken 2 if you ordered that before jan as well)

Or wait until a few weeks after release when they realise they still have a shedload of stock and decide to dump what's left @ £11.

I had an annoying chat with someone from Amazon earlier. I ended up cancelling my order as I felt I was being called a liar when I stated it was placed up for pre-order for £11.89! They stated it is £14.99 and that is the price that will be charged end of. Bad customer service indeed. Not impressed tbh.

If you live in North America yes. It's about $25 shipped to Canada

Sorry to hear that , it's unfair how some are getting it and some are not all depending on who you speak to or whoever responds to your message, very unprofessional. They should stick to a protocol, not one rule for one & one rule for another.

Indeed bastards. Also The Dark Knight Trilogy it was first set to 16,50, I saw that price with my own eyes, but when added it to my basket it ended up to 32,99. Also no price reduce as well.

This was posted and voted hot on one of the UK's biggest deals websites (which has thousands of members), add to that, the entire world's steelbook community having access to it via amazon. The price was also the same as for the amaray, it's a new release, and everyone jumped aboard.
