I like the slip a little better than when I first saw it, but the Taiwan version still wins IMO - far more distinctive and classier. What lets this slip down is that ugly yellow rating circle, which fouls up the black/white/gold scheme.

Pity about the manufacturing defect. Just as they seem to have sorted out that flimsy shrink wrap that separates on the opening side, we get scratched cases instead. Seems like the Skyfall steelbook has a curse over it!

I am waiting to see side by side pics before forming a definite view on which is nicer. better still, to compare them in hand. The pics so far indicates that TW is ahead - probably by a head (as opposed to a nose).

Yes Rob Slight line in the fold of the section you open. Defiantly a manufacturing defect not a scratch by a knife or anything like that. You have to go looking for it though and as I can be very OCD about my steels, this is a minor flaw. Nothing worth throwing your toys out of the pram for!!
