I bucked the trend and ordered odd number, but all arrived mint - I was holding my breath when I opened the package up though
mine arrived in a flimsy cardboard box, plus the disc was loose!!
no damage to steelbook or disc though.
different case altogether with my hangover 2 steelbook from amazon.de. bubblewrap AND cardboard box!!

Oh yes, in one of my two SBs the Disc was also loose... but no damage to Disc or Steelbook! And as i open my Steelbooks not an issue!
And amazon.de is not always putting bubble wrap on their Steelbooks! But at least they do not use padded envelopes anymore
Yes, unfortunately discs can dislodge in shipping, especially if in transit a long time (this happens even with Amarays from huge retailers like Amazon). 9/10 the BD protective coating prevents any actual damage that prevents playback. Unfortunately, the only way to put the disc back on the spindle is to open it and pop it back on, or use the trick discussed here in the 'Loose Disc' thread here (takes some finesse). Or, if you're OCD, leave it on the shelf, and buy an Amaray to watch (YIKES).

I opened this steelie a moment ago and man it's nice for obvious reasons:boobies: the great thing is that the top attire of the girls on the cover is embossed. Ok guys we will chat later gotta go do some things

My replacement arrived and it is perfectly mint! The disc was loose but i was able to pop it back in without opening the steel. Now i have two of those beautys. One dented, i fixed as good as possible, which i use for watching and one perfectly mint one i keep sealed.

Got this today, thanks to DB. The embossing / debossing is fantastic. Its a real beauty. Just can't seem to keep my hands off it!!!

First time I've ever noticed big price difference between Amazon sites - ***** Slap Doppel D edition is 22Eur on German site but only 14 Eur on Italian site (which even states it's German edition!!) pays to shop around

Dude, you're missing the point: embossed titties on the cover of the steel, everything else is irrelevant.
