Sad to hear so there wont be an opportunity if youre not a paying member. Even in group buys i didn't stand a change as platinum members are served first. Should be like that regardless they pay for their memberships, just sad we proberly won't get a change.

Just for my understanding, there is no Steelbook in there but this Italian Digibook with steel plates thingie? I mean, it is pretty, but that is not a Steelbook by any stretch of the imagination.....

So “normal” members don’t get a look in unless you’ve sold a kidney to purchase a lot more blufans releases? So the rule seems to be pay to be a VIP to enable you to buy them, but you need to have made a cetain amount of Blufans purchases to be able to get onto future group buys? Is that correct?

I think the play is not to stress over it and just collect what you want, if you end up getting near the 50 then congratulations but if you approach it as paying for access you'll spend a small fortune to get there and probably not feel too great about it.

If I were just starting and there's an OAB I really want the play is just to buy it on a secondary market, there's usually some reasonable options.

Believe me, I'm not stressed. Just wondered what the "protocol" was. I have Blufans editions of certain movies I like. I am just bewildered, that as a member since 2012, I appear to be penalised to get in a GB for certain Blufans editions because I have not paid or got 50. Just seems strange. I certainly won't be paying over the odds on "evil Bay"! Thanks for the clarification. It was enlightening.

It might just be me, but 50 blufans editions (OC counts as 3) isn't exactly a huge number to aspire. They've got absolutely tones of releases over the last 15yrs. I had the 40+ with ease when I joined VIP a good few years ago now.
