Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

Hey I'm new to this what is the difference between SC2 and SC3?

Is the sc3 slightly bigger for sealed steelbooks?

Do they honestly protect the bottom of the steelbook while say on the shelf?

Don't damage them while taking them in and out?

Any help greatly appreciated :)

Sc2's arrived from man of steel, far better than the ones from steelbook central, the flaps were always very fiddly to close on the one from steelbook central, if you bought from them you know what I mean, no such problems with the ones from man of steel

Thanks for the info mate. Have had 25 from steelbook central and know what you mean. Does man of steel have a direct site, or just eBay?

Sc2 are unsealed, no j card. SC3 sealed or open with j card.

They are great and look the part. Protect bottom of steel.

Go for it - there as addictive as the darn steelbooks! :hilarious:

To be fair, no problem as such, have to be careful folding flaps, but I would not feel nervous, they are good. I have 23 now. Buy 10 mag see what you think.

Thank you again, :)

Sorry to bother you again but what are the man of steel ones that people are talking about??

Are they better? Do you have a link to them by any chance? :(

just the ebay site, they were quick with the orders came a day or 2 later, but i think they only do sc2's, for jumbos i still ordered from central, but i will only order the 2's from man of steel now

Who is this ManOfSteel and where can I view his covers? I was thinking it was about time I invested in some SC2 covers since my steelbook collection is definitely growing and was going to get the ones on Steelbook Central till I saw a few mentions of this ManOfSteel and his apparent better covers?

Yeah I'm so confused which is better steelbook central or man of steel.

I am after sc3's I think

Man of steels are quite a few pounds more expensive

Help? Anyone got a comparison video or anything? I'm only going to get wee amount as they are pretty expensive

Does anyone have any spare of the Jumbo Steelshell from blu-steels.com? I'm hoping to get 3, I know I'll need 2 soon and am anticipating a 3rd eventually... hopefully.

I've only used steelbook central (SC3) cases and received my 2nd order yesterday. However with this order came with 3 flyers of no use to me. :(

So I guess nobody has an answer for this one?

I was searching for a cover for kimchi's too. Ended up buying the "jumbo cases" from blu-steels, but unfortunately they don't really fit.... Too tall and skinny. Something like lotr fellowship jumbo would probably fit perfectly.

That's exactly what I thought “Perhaps they'll fit inside a jumbo case.”
Too bad they're too tall to fit inside though, because I could live with them being too skinny, I'd try to get some foam from somewhere to fill up empty space I think.
It's primarily for protection and display, and I wouldn't mind foam in the back of the case because for display I'd be looking at the front.
Thing is I don't dare to open them to actually watch the movie because there's no way to display/store them protected when they're not in use.
Thanks for telling about the jumbo cases, and I guess the search goes on.

anyone found a way to store this beauty and all the goodies + the slip in a safe way in the meantime? I so desperately want to open mine but don't want to just put the steel in a protective sleeve without the slip, booklet and awesome sticker. How do people go about it?

Use a re-sealable storage bag. Comes in various sizes. Can still store the steelbooks vertically side by side on a shelf. Just be careful with the adjacent steelbooks when pulling one out.

I have various sized sleeves from Movie-Style France and Blu-steels Germany...send me the exact dimensions of the item you need a sleeve for and I'll check and see if any will fit.

Thanks, what you mean flyers you couldn't use?

Sorry by flyerts I meant promotional leaflets they included for other companies like a bingo one and a snack box one. Can't remember what the other one was. If they included zavvi or play discount codes then I would be happy but the ones they included is just more junk for me to fill my bin.
