Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

Hi Everyone, My names Matt I am the Director of Steelbook Central. We are designing a whole new range of slipcovers that need perfecting and would love to hear your thoughts.

Well hello Matt! nice to see you are now able to post! And yep feedback given over on eBay yesterday and today :thumbs:

Hi David, Thanks for the feedback! Its taken me ages to get on hidefninja, at last the day is here :thumbs: Going back to your point about the SC2 slipcover with the 2 thumb cut outs we are going to go back to just the one so it does not destroy the look of the front of the steel :happy:

@KingSteelie

What kind of new ones?

They will be based on our current range, with some tweaks, so all collectors get exactly what they want. Thicker material, protective film over the slipcover to avoid scratching in transit, you simply just peel off before you fold and the price will be highly competitive. Where do you buy your sleeves from?

What is an SG4? What kind of steelbook would go in that?

When will these new ones be avaliable?

The SC4 is made for G1 steelbooks (G1 size) These are mainly released by warner in france i think. They also fit xbox steels

It will take a while between 3-4 months as we are just perfecting the design.

Hi Matt

I'm looking to buy 50 of the SC2 slipcovers and would like to know if the old ones (one thumb cut) would be the order I get?

Ronnie

Hi Ronnie,

The current stock we have has the 2 thumb cut outs, the new stock will have 1 thumb cut out, but these are 3-4 months away. Do you like to display your steelbooks on stands?

The other options we have is the SC1 which has the same dimensions as the SC2 but are open each side. We also have the SCF1 which is a fully enclosed slipcover.

The old SC2 had the glue line at the back, I wonder if everyone would prefer that style, or the glue line at the bottom of the slipcover like our newer ones?

Will be ordering a pack of SCF1 in the near future. Don't like the SC1, I prefer the protection the SC2 gives so might just hold off until you get the new stock in.

I prefer the glue at the bottom of the slipcover as it gives it a more streamlined look.
