Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

Your a nightmare lol, dont sell them just keep collecting  I have actually run out of room to store my steels, need to sell the ones I dont watch. We have the SCF2 which fits full slip steels and lenticulars for a loose fit. We have our new SCF3 slipcover specially for lenti steels will be out in a few months time
Groovy, I'll stick an order in for 10 SCF2s then :)

I can make a video for you, just send an email to [email protected] or fill out the contact form on the website
I seen that the site is currently like shut down. I plan to make my big purchase (350-400) tomorrow, will they be back online then and if so will they be able to accommodate a semi-large order like that? I'm determined to make them work even if I have to seek help from a friend or something.

We have been moving to new premises, so not been dispatching orders, but all is back to normal tomorrow

I made a video for another customer who had not used slipcovers before, I could send the link to your email address? We do take large orders, up to 1000 at a time

Ok it looks as though Steelbook Central has updated there website. Larger quantities are now available. Yay! Despite the fact that the first 10 of SC2 that I ordered I seemed to have destroyed all 10 trying to make them work, even though I have prior knowledge of how protective slip cases work (I must have been doing something wrong). I base my buying choices on strong influences of customer reviews and so far the reviews in this thread have been leaning strongly on Steelbook Central's protective sleeves.

In the past I had been buying my protective sleeves from Masterblaster which in turn he was getting them from blu-steel. I was going to get some from there but despite the fact that there out of large quantities and there considerably more expensive I've opted for 500 of the SC2's and 20 of the SC6's for all my jumbo needs.

Steelbook Central (500) = $197 USD
blu-steel (500) $243 USD

If I start destroying these things trying to bend and crease them to the recommended shape, I'm hoping that I can get on here and kindly ask some of you gentlemen for assistance.

The issue that I'm having now with the hard protective slipcovers that I purchased from Masterblaster is that they cover the spine and impossible to take a quality picture of them without severe glare impeding on the quality of the image. With these new ones I can protect all sides and have the spine open and viewable for me to see what I want to watch or for picture taking.

Tomorrow morning I'll put my order in. Thanks everyone for your positive reviews on these protective slipcovers. :)

Every single one of my steels is either in an SC2, SC3 (Kimchi Iron Man) or SC6 (jumbos). All spines exposed, great for glamour shots.

Now that's what I'm talking about. You have a very pleasant looking collection because you have the right kind of sleeves. Mine look so bad because of glare and no uniformity.

I ordered 400 from Steelbook Central this morning.

Hey @KingSteelie my SCF2s arrived today! Nice and prompt, like usual! A couple of niggles though...

-I personally like the spine exposed, I know this is a full coverage sleeve though so I'll leave that. Maybe in the future?
-Again, personally, I'd display Blufans not from the steelbook spine end, but the other end that says Blufans and the edition number. If I turn it that way round though I end up with either the flaps covering the lenti or the glueline covering the spine. I think that makes sense...

Other than that, the sleeve fits 100% perfectly!

If you turn the SCF2 upside down, then rotate it through the horizontal, you will be able to display them as you are suggesting ;)

I thought that SC did ones with open spines, no?
SC2/3/4/6 all have open spines, but are designed for standard steels unsealed/sealed/G1/jumbo. SCF1 is designed to fully encompass a standard G2 steel, while SCF2 is to fully encompass a full slip (like Blufans Iron Man).

I can't see one that'll hold a full slip but leave the spine exposed.

Hi Stevo,

Glad you received your order in good time, the reason we will not make an open type of the SCF2 is because the variation of sizes of the asian steels. You can get away with it on a fully enclosed case because if they are not a perfect fit it does not show that much, but on an open case if it does not fit perfect it will look awful I think. Also we are trying to keep the cases to a minimum, the more we make the more we confuse people lol.

@KingSteelie Don't suppose you have any pics of HDzeta HTTYD in an SCF1 do you? Or any lenti slip release. I've put it in an SC3 and it doesn't really work.

@hellboydce1 might be interested in seeing too if he hasn't ordered already.

Hi Stevo, HTTYD does not fit in an SCF1 only SCF2, you can get some lenticulars in the SCF1 but kimchi can be a bit tight so we recommend SCF2, but SCF3 should fit all lenticulars perfect when it comes out

@CasuallyDressed HTTYD will only fit in SCF2.

Notice there a good amount of space in there. But it does what it needs to do for right now until those SCF3s. And in hindsight of today's gladiator, that lenti is taped perfectly on to the slip..no glue required~

Yeah I've tried it in an SCF2 already, tis indeed very roomy. I thought the SCF3 was meant for jumbos? Surely that'll be even roomier?
