:oohyeah: :oohyeah:

We got around 20" here in Milwaukee and stuff is still coming down. I woke up this morning and looked out my window and saw a blanket of snow covering our yard through the street to the other side's yards. dont think im going anywhere even if they didnt cancel school :hilarious:

course, ill be studying all day anyways, so its not like i can take the day off, but its the principle people! :D

anyone else in the midwest get they day off because of snow? i know some cities shut down even if there is like 4" because they dont have plows/salt etc...

Addition:

the other crazy thing about this storm was it was the first time i have ever witnessed a blizzard combined with thunder and lightning. it was craziness. the lightning flashes soooo much brighter with the snow reflecting it all.

it was like watching a zapdos vs articuno fight

Congrats on getting to see thunder snow. Diva and I got iced in yesterday and today. We got about 1/2 inch of ice with about 2 or 3 inches of sleet on top of that with another inch or two of snow on top of that. Kinda crazy.

This ice and sleet is what i'm going through right now. We have received almost 3 inches worth so far, since last night. It's supposed to change into a wintry mix sometime this afternoon.

I got to experience that thunder snow about 3 years ago. It's definately a weird and cool sight.

I'm still amazed that we got what we did, and just a few miles NW, I-70 is closed all the way to Kansas City. My dad got about two feet of snow at his house and he only lives about an hour and a half away.

Up to 20" by tonight. Coming down pretty crazy right now - hoping just for snow and none of that ice stuff.

Glad I can work from home. :oohyeah:

Yesterday was snow and then a wintry mix. It stopped for a while but then over night we got sleet and freezing rain. I'm sure I could come into work a little later when the conditions get better, but working from my apartment on my couch sounds like a better idea to me :scat:

Lol at the dog Mobius, he's prolly just sitting there thinking "WTF...."

Just finished chipping the rest of the ice off of the driveway from the last storm, to prepare for the next storm, coming sometime tonight through tomorrow afternoon.
