Just got out of seeing this, let me preface that I’m went in not knowing anything about the story and was only familiar with a couple of Neil Diamond songs but I thought this movie was great. Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman really nailed the singing parts, the acting was superb, compelling story, it handled several difficult topics with grace while accurately depicting them, and will lead you on a roller coaster of emotions. I highly recommend checking this out in theaters and at the very least when it’s available on streaming.
