Yeah not great tbh. Just something off with the Manta Maguire spidey artworks. Manta never quite got it right with them. Weet definitely come off as king with their releases.

I’ll prob go for Lenti A because it’s something different to what I already own for the film

I’ve been saying for a while I don’t want anymore franchises or trilogies or 4 whatever’s anymore from them. Or anything that’s repeated throughout the premium retailers.
But I’ve also said I guarantee they at some point tackle lord of the rings, hobbits, mission impossible and the transformers franchise. As much as maybe the latter two would be nice to have as premiums, I’d only want the first 3 for Transformers and the artworks just won’t match either for anything lol so that’s why I’d personally not want them to attempt them. I’m getting a bit sick of having a trilogy and one of them is a lenti and another is a full slip and so on.

That’s why I love all the weet spiderman full slips for all the films because they chose decent arts that kinda all suit each other and it works, manta mostly like to scramble it all up and it can be frustrating or they keep the best art possible for OC boxes and I just don’t agree with that.

Won’t lie I’d like to see at least one animated release. Mutant Mayhem

Embossing work would be interesting

The upside-down kiss scene is what sticks with me on this film. Transitional mask on/off lenti probably doesn't work... but I'd of admired some originality or outside the box thinking.

Or even a FS with image on reverse of slip.
Yo, not gonna lie, that would've been boss! Automatic purchase for me if it were included anywhere, but like you said, too outside the box for any soulless studio suit to sign off on.

i have no interest in the movies, but Im puzzled why so many pretend the weet are like "obviously" better.. theyre not imo.. not at all
I think mostly nostalgia. I have the WeET OC. The box itself is very poor quality (it's basically paper stuck around poorly), the lentis are bad, the steels are subjective but not clearly better. The full slips are great. But you're bang on, absolutely not objectively better than the Manta release in any way

Perfect combo is probably WeET Spiderman 1 steel + Manta Spiderman 2 & 3 steels all in the WeET full slips (assuming your OCD can deal with the utter madness that is mixing steels and slips which mine could never)

Can't believe some people are talking about these releases like they aren't absolutely goated :woot:View attachment 612443
These steelbooks look sexy next to eachother no doubt. Weet is good in its own way but the aftermarket prices are skyhigh so manta is a good alternative at the momment and they will surely won't dissappoint. Also very curious about the flip lenti editions, what will te flip image be? I'd like to keep that suprise until the unboxings

These are the steelbooks you mongs. Manta have done a great job with them. But nothing, absolutely nothing is beating the Weet Full Slips. Manta just proved that. Whenever I’ve referenced Weet with Spiderman I’ve always said the full slips. Their steelbooks are fine but the slips are stellar. The lentis not so much, as bad as the manta FS designs in terms of nothing matches what so ever. The Spiderman 2 FS is excellent then then SM 1 has the old black background photoshops for the rereleases years back or what looks like AI concept art for Spiderman 3. It’s technically a mess

DL A & B look the best here. Spiderman 2 is an all rounder and then only DL B for Spiderman 3. it’s really strange choices of art for most of them especially Spiderman 3 (except all the steels)
