Looks dead cool with embossing to Spider-Man and Vulture's wing-tips as well as the de-bossed title:-
Artwork and design not in the same league as the R. Meinerding artwork and design for the International steelbook but luckily the 'bossing here will make this design look better than it deserves to be.
This is THE best looking steelbook for this hands down. Whatever floats your boat I suppose. Still laughing lol

Glad I purchased the box set.
I save money now only focusing on the MCU so i'm very happy with my purchase at the price its at.
For those who are buying it... great! We will have a stunning set, and this alongside the kimchi and HMV ones will be like Christmas come early.
For those who are not buying it... great! You save money and buy alternatives or something else.

sorry but at that price for the box... can't do it. czk to usd conversion pegs this at about $260.

That art is crap. Full stop. For a comic book? Great artwork, can't deny it. But regardless of this being a comic book movie, I don't want the comic book art splashed all over it, some will, but most want the art to reflect the film, which is this hands down.
Enjoy your choice of steel, but don't kid yourself, this art is sooooo much better.
It's to have the whole package of every variant out there to go with their collection. Some want every variant they can get their hands on, to add to their collection. It's what some Collectors traits are aren't they?
Me personally, too rich for my liking, but I understand if you are a huge fan. Only ever had 1 one click on my life, and my wife beat mevto near death because of it

Thanks for explaining--maybe I missed something about E5B, but how is it a different variant? Is the E5B lenti magnet different, or is E5B really just a barer version of E1 (E1 without the Vulture fullslip or goodies)?
I can understand 1/4 slips being a different variant than their fullslip or lenti counterparts, for example, but I'm still not seeing how E5B is different.
Tbh I love both those arts. But they are different leagues in their own way and different styles.
Personally think they will be as good as each other but great bossing on gloss is a cherry on the cake (if the Hmv/ kimchi version has bossing then great too)

This isn't the comic book art, it's the movie concept art by Ryan Meinerding who is one of the major artists for the MCU concept art and his work is heavily featured on official posters and in the Art of the Movie books. Lots of people love it and they were thrilled to see it's used for the steelbook coz they love his art and I personally would love to see more of the concept art used on stuff like this. I dig the WWA steel just like I dig FACs design and each of them has its fans.

What matters is understanding why they used that artwork and that it's not just some random art they slapped on a steelbook. The concept art is used for the movies to visualize certain scenes or different costume designs and the artist goes for realism and he is quite a big name in this business and there are loads of people who admire is work and stand in line to get one of the posters signed. So you might not like it but it ain't '****'.

As I've said before, I don't think the art looks bad, it just suits a graphic novel or the like. To me, the FA art to me is the better art for a steel.
But as I've said before, different strokes for different folks
E1 and E5 Lenti magnets are usually different with FAC and Unnumbered Editions
E5 is unnumbered edition with WEA steelbook with a Lenti Magnet
We don't know yet what E1 or E5 Lenti magnets are like as we not seen the beauty shots yet and will very likely be different Lenticular magnets

Yeah definitely. And damn, after what FAC showed, their steel should be a beauty so I can see why people prefer that.
