Not in the same league?! LMFAOWent back a few pages and couldn't find / must have missed this . . .
Looks dead cool with embossing to Spider-Man and Vulture's wing-tips as well as the de-bossed title:-
Artwork and design not in the same league as the R. Meinerding artwork and design for the International steelbook but luckily the 'bossing here will make this design look better than it deserves to be.

This is THE best looking steelbook for this hands down. Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

You like it better than FA? Then good for you, go nuts. But you are in the minority here mate.![]()
So there are some people reckon this art is better ----------------------------------------------------------------- than this ? Seriously !?

Good that people have a sense of humour (lol)
It's to have the whole package of every variant out there to go with their collection. Some want every variant they can get their hands on, to add to their collection. It's what some Collectors traits are aren't they? What is the point of including the E5B in the Maniacs Box if E1 already includes 3D+2D+lenti magnet? Am I missing something behind the reasoning?

This isn't the comic book art, it's the movie concept art by Ryan Meinerding who is one of the major artists for the MCU concept art and his work is heavily featured on official posters and in the Art of the Movie books. Lots of people love it and they were thrilled to see it's used for the steelbook coz they love his art and I personally would love to see more of the concept art used on stuff like this. I dig the WWA steel just like I dig FACs design and each of them has its fans. You like it better than FA? Then good for you, go nuts. But you are in the minority here mate.
That art is crap. Full stop. For a comic book? Great artwork, can't deny it. But regardless of this being a comic book movie, I don't want the comic book art splashed all over it, some will, but most want the art to reflect the film, which is this hands down.
Enjoy your choice of steel, but don't kid yourself, this art is sooooo much better.

It wouldn't be the first time . . . matey . . .But you are in the minority here mate.
Totally get what you are saying, but you can't deny it's "comic book " style art. This isn't the comic book art, it's the movie concept art by Ryan Meinerding who is one of the major artists for the MCU concept art and his work is heavily featured on official posters and in the Art of the Movie books. DAYUM!
Some people refer to it as 'pop art' (lol) or 'comic book art' and while I wouldn't classify it as either (unless you wanna tell me that every page in a comic book looks as elaborate like this), the terminology doesn't matter. What matters is understanding why they used that artwork and that it's not just some random art they slapped on a steelbook. The concept art is used for the movies to visualize certain scenes or different costume designs and the artist goes for realism and he is quite a big name in this business and there are loads of people who admire is work and stand in line to get one of the posters signed. So you might not like it but it ain't '****'.Totally get what you are saying, but you can't deny it's "comic book " style art.

The WWA is definitely not pop art! Lol. I know I'm not the only one who's looking forward to having the WWA steel of Spider-Man Homecoming next to TWS and TFA by Zavvi coz guess whose artwork that is ...

That being said, I love what FAC did with this design and I'm sure this steelbook here will totally rock.

E1 and E5 Lenti magnets are usually different with FAC and Unnumbered EditionsWhat is the point of including the E5B in the Maniacs Box if E1 already includes 3D+2D+lenti magnet? Am I missing something behind the reasoning?
Yeah definitely. And damn, after what FAC showed, their steel should be a beauty so I can see why people prefer that. I guess I would too coz I love a nice finish and brushed steel shining through and reflecting the light when you walk by.The WWA is definitely not pop art! Lol. I can't stand pop art.
As I've said before, I don't think the art looks bad, it just suits a graphic novel or the like. To me, the FA art to me is the better art for a steel.
But as I've said before, different strokes for different folks![]()
But then I also collect prints and I love the concept art so hell yeah to that WWA steel. ^^ I'm just glad I'm getting both you see.
