Ordered from Wowhd, arrived today in a double jiffy, mint condition. Very happy as was only £13.50. Bit of a bargain for a triple movie steel if you ask me
Same here. I'm surprised they survived the trip from Japan unscathed, but very thankful that they did! I think it's a pretty decent steelbook overall... nice and clean with consistent artwork throughout. Definitely worth the money imo.
I bit this morning when it said 3 left, now there's 6 left! lol Oh well, I would have bought it eventually anyway and £13 is still a good price for 3 blu rays (even if 2 of them are crap, and the other is pretty crap...
)
We don't know what the packaging is like from the eBAY seller yet, so you can't say Amazon is better at the moment. I messaged him and asked, he said "it will be packaged well to ensure it is protected during transit" so it remains to be seen!
Almost took the plunge, but I managed to resist due to the words "Spider-man" on the front. Imagine if they did that with The Dark Knight Trilogy and just labelled it "Batman" *cue a mock-up picture*
It'll do, probably never watch them but it's for the marvel collection! It can gather dust with Hulk!
Got mine this morning from the eBAY seller selling for £12.99. Delivered in cardboard mailer, but luckily no damage. When I took the slip off, the front is covered in light scratches. Anyone else had this issue?! It's clearly a manufacturing error rather than anything else...

Mine was fine but then I got mine from WOWHD for £ 13.49 - miraculously arrived undamaged in plastic jiffy bag
Send it back and get a shiny new one from a more reputable source than either you or I chose

Nah, can't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back - not for a £12.99 steel... lol Like I said, it's not caused by the seller as it was under the cellophane which was all fine and dandy! Just something that happened during manufacturing
More likely it was sc***** along the top of the work surface by the ghetto oink who packed the discs and leaflets inside it at the media distribution centre before it was sealed.

Yeah that sounds about right! lol Also, as a side note, the artwork on the discs is a bit weird! Why does the second film has a massive "2" on (like the German edition) but the first and 3rd film don't?!
Because these are simple rush jobs to capitalize on Amazing Spiderman 2 release which reportedly sucks for its budget.
No doubt the packing centre just pulled in their spare discs from whichever source they could find - especially as Spider-Man 3 was originally a 2 disc set so they have ditched the extras disc.
