Big Springsteen fan, not a fan of them having the actor lip synching actual Springsteen recordings. I think musical biographies should always have the actor singing, the voice of Springsteen and the actors are way too different to not be taken out of the moment when he's suddenly sounding completely different in the songs.

Quite a few actors recently pulling out some great singing voices for who they are playing. Was impressed with butler as Elvis, Timothy as Bob and this seems decent too

I just listened again, and damn you may be right.

Not to be a downer or anything, but listening especially to the 'I saw her standing on her front lawn' from Nebraska, it wouldn't surprise me if they used AI tom ake him sound even more like Bruce. Later phrasings and vocal tone give it away a bit more that it's not Bruce, but that first sentence is absolutely uncanny, like an alternative take from the original session or something.
