interesting tidbit.

loads of the Star Trek got damaged back in the day but no confirmed number tbh. In the region of a few thousand units / a pallet load, as a result of a fork lift error!! The warehouse ended up destroying them as they were un-returnable and no good to send to customers

Open and in average condition I paid £40 a few months ago so I'd expect £40-£70 depending on exact condition. Mint & sealed prices as previously mentioned.

Never thought i get within a million miles of one of these but today at my local CEX I picked up a reasonable copy ( two small dings on the back, slight scratch on the front banner) for the princely sum of £10..

I'd say that that's me done with Steelbooks but there's always more to get..

Don't know the run on this but 30k is a tad high...Play sold them @£10 to clear stock I seem to remember...If anyone wants this, invest a mint sealed jobby.

Been offered this for £40 from a mate - he says it's in pretty much new condition but I have my doubts, there's probable a couple of hairline scratches on it but there aren't any dents or dings.

Is this a decent deal? What is the most damage you'd be comfortable with for £40?

Go for it as this is a super glossy Steelbook with black back on which you can easily find few hairline scratches. I had few copies of this Steel and none of them were MINT.

It does, but I'm not going to sell it - struggling to justify £40 on one movie that happens to come in a metal soap dish.
