interesting tidbit.

loads of the Star Trek got damaged back in the day but no confirmed number tbh. In the region of a few thousand units / a pallet load, as a result of a fork lift error!! The warehouse ended up destroying them as they were un-returnable and no good to send to customers

Yeh, even the number on the back, but however if you compare them side by side the Zavvi one is just a slightly darker shade of white, but that is just down to the quality in the print of steels now days...

as xxhappygilmore said, which is true...the play.com is much better quality...although these things and opinions of mine its cause i open them hold them and look at them...from pictures you cant actually understand much..

The DVD steelbook comes without the blue banner and it looks so bland.

The blue banner against white is what makes this very appealing.

I don't know mate! I just think the blue ruined it. I understand the contrasting of the colors may add some more appeal. But in my opinion, there's no room for a blue banner on steelbooks. Maybe I'm just used to seeing them without the blue banner.

Both my Zavvi Black and White editions are now 2 disc sets.
