The going price for a new mint Star Trek Future shop in around £200 mark but witch one IS the best to have the UK release With the hologram or the FS ? For me I like the FS one
Which version you like is a subjective decision and preference.
For me I like the FS one from the start because it is cleaner whiter steel, less of the black warp speed colours.
Now the Play.com has been released identicle to Zavvi, the FS version differentiates itself from the rest, not much, but enough to notice if you have them side by side.
Will the FS gain more in value because it looks a little different, or will drop down now everywhere is flooded with ST steel? Time will tell....
Depends where you are and if it is sealed. Sealed I've seen it go for around $150-170 in the US and around $170-200 elsewhere. Every now and then you can snag an open copy for around $110-125. :movie:

I'm still keeping my seal copy but wish I had my empty case second copy. I remember running out of shelf space so I sold it for like $20. It's not really the money factor, but it really was a nice looking steelbook in the high gloss finish.

I was watching one on ebay a few monts ago and it sold for jist less than £30, but unfortubately didn't ship overseas and i was gutted at that price

I think that one you have found for that price it's for the Zavvi or Japan "new", one disc only re-release.
It was the FS release, had all the disc holders but no digital copy disc and it was the FS artwork (the black ship is smaller and none of the shaded area reaches the title), however if i remember correct it had a little shelf wear on the bottom and if i remember the inner plastic may have been cracked, but could easily replace it... This was just before the Zavvi releases when there were tons of the Play Star Trek steels on the web trying to sell and then buy the cheaper Zavvi one, and i guess people thought it was just the play one, the listing never said FS release, just "canada release" in the discription...
Anyway, i prefer this to the play.com version, it just seems cleaner because of the smaller ship with less shading

think the question you need to ask yourself is how much are you willing to pay e.g. set a top limit and not a penny more if you see where im coming from.
also could be worth a look in the trade forums here at hdn maybe you might find one there as a thought.

Is this still worth a bunch? A guy in my city want $100. I just need a Star Trek to complete my collection. It blew me away when he asked for that much.
