This version is better than the UK play.com version because it appears 'whiter' which looks nicer. The UK version is not complete white colour.

They are. I have a few of each and they are different. Its hardly noticable though.

The UK edition was released long before this. I do like both, but one did come first, so that's what I would choose personally. It's only my opinion, many feel otherwise.

Well for me, the FS version looks better because its whiter and cleaner steelbook. Doesn't have anything to do which version was released first because they were both released around the same time.

I think the play one is slightly nicer, but the FS one is one of my highest wants also. I settled with the German re-release and am still a little dissapointed.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but am I missing something here? The UK first run steelbook was released on November 16, 2009. The Canadian Future Shop edition was released on November 17, 2009. So yes, one did come before the other...
