I wonder if it'll be available long enough to be able to get it on some sale, maybe end of this year...
I got the second season steel with 25% off from HMV last Black Friday, but got scared the first one was sold out everywhere at the time, and ordered from France at full €35 price. Now reseller 'Momox' has it for €24, so I don't know...
Late November release so probably not.

Finally watched this last season. Best thing I’ve watched in ages. Nostalgia played a big part but what a season compared to 1 and 2. Loved it.

Need to own this.

Want to see how much of the 45 minutes filmed of the end scene makes it on the Blu-ray.

it would have to be something special because I found the first two seasons unwatchable. Tried to watched parts of those seasons and just give up.

It’s giving a lot back to fans of TNG and is head and shoulders above seasons 1 & 2.

Watched both of them and thought they were just about ok but definitely nothing special.

Gave up half way through Season 1, never watched season 2, but really enjoyed Season 3, so have ordered that. Usually a bit of a completist but no way on earth would I buy 1 or 2. Season 3 was enjoyable. One of these series that you just had keep watching the next episode to see what happened.

I think the general train of thought is "Too Little, to late" to save the franchise..

You mean Star Trek as a whole? Never too late. Star Trek will always have a following.

If you mean Picard itself, well that was only ever meant to be a three season story.

As a whole I have found the show to be "lacking" for want of a better word for a long time and for me it started with that 2009 movie. Not saying there were not issues before then but I have found the show unwatchable for a long time.

Fair play.

I quite enjoyed Strange New Worlds. Started season 2 last night. Felt like it went back to episodic stories with season long arc in the background rather than just a season long story dominating every episode.

I honestly can't put my finger on the problem I have with the show today. It's there but I can't define it.. Something way off with it..

It's the people writing the episodes, this generation is mostly just dumber and flakier.
Everything feels like a fast food copy of something once better.
